Thanks. I notice the TV coverage doesn't caption the names of all breakaway riders as much as they used to.0 -
Sad after Samuel Sanchez's abandon at tour,he has worked a lot for this race. This is cycling...

What Harmon failed to mention was that Jeremy Roy almost won a TdF stage last year, attacking over the Aubisque and Soulor and was only caught and passed by Thor (who rode a brilliant tactical solo chase) in the final kilometre.0

Damn sky and their strong team riding to win... I bet if AG2R had the same riders at their disposal they wouldn't bother with such dull tactics."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Exactly. Some on here who I won't name haven't git a clue. They think professional sport is about entertaining spectators rather than getting a result. Maybe it's true that European teams prefer panache to pragmatism but maybe that's why they have lost their dominance of the sport.0 -

The weird thing is that the first 50km were chaos, sky had no control because they weren't concentrating when it kicked off. They had to put a lot of effort in to get it back into a controllable bunch."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
