    Good finish for Roche

    Great by Costa.

Some good results this year, in the Ardennes and 3rd in Romandie overall I think.

3 victories last year, including in the Tour at Super Besse

Good on Frank. Without him it would have been very poor.

Good effort by Frank. OK he blew but no-one can say he didn't give it a go. Mollema was looking like something out of a horror film before he dropped off. He's never going to look good but I've never seen anyone with that much snot! Wasn't sure where the commentator was going when he started talking about the green jersey a few seconds later

Wooooooo! I couldn't make out the Movistar rider on the rubbish feed I had.

So many fails on this stage. Anton - one hit drug fueled wonder. A rider like Frank should have held a good gap on those guys.

Frank tried, just the sort of long distance attack you always go on about, but ultimately his legs went (which is why riders rarely attack like that). I'd hardly call that a fail, second on the stage and second on GC! Anton seems passed it, I still make the mistake of picking him for PTP for some reason.

Not a fail by Frank even if I would have expected a climber of his calibre to hold out:

I also had this photo lined up if he won ; )

It was a good win from Costa, looked strong and rode quite smartly. At 25 he's starting to build up some good results, wonder what he can do over the next few years? With Nairo Quintana as well Movistar has some good young guys for the mountains.

Nice one Frank for having a go, if they did that a bit more often I think people would moan about them a lot less (even if they don't win).

Gesink disappointing and has messed up my PTP for this race. Surprised after his ride at California, guess you can't use a chipper as a gauge of form.

frank attacking early on that climb made a real vicious finale to that stage.

I think gesink may recover a bit towards the back end of this race [but not win]
