well hell of a save by the mongrel dog but I think he is done and dusted...
basso looking strong-ish but so is JR
Jrod showed nothing on that climb... the ryder bluffed a fair bit I think. a lot of bluffing on that climb, Basso if he had anything more was sensible not to show it, Deserved the stage for putting the hurt on."If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. Had a 26pt lead and it's 25 for the win. Wasn't paying enough attention today to know what happened in the TV sprint, though
Edit: that's also what they've got on gazzetta: http://www.gazzetta.it/Speciali/Giroditalia/2012/en/0 -
The TV sprint was halfway up a climb IIRC0

Has it been whittled down a little more now to just the top 4?

1 Joaquim Rodriguez Oliver (Spa) Katusha Team 74:46:46
2 Ryder Hesjedal (Can) Garmin - Barracuda 0:00:30
3 Ivan Basso (Ita) Liquigas-Cannondale 0:01:22
4 Michele Scarponi (Ita) Lampre - ISD 0:01:36
5 Rigoberto Uran Uran (Col) Sky Procycling 0:02:56

7 Domenico Pozzovivo (Ita) Colnago - CSF Inox 0:03:19

They're all going to have to put in some serious attacks to get some time on Ryder before Sunday.0 -

Very pleasant. Especially as I'm on holiday for a week from tomorrow anyway.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Betfair make it a top 3. JRod slight favourite from Basso and Ryder.
Scarponi further back with 20+ for Uran and Pozzo0 -
Huge gain by Uran.
19 and 20 are pretty brutal. Everything can change then to be honest.Contador is the Greatest0 -

But a 25 point penalty would end his chances unless J-Rod go no more points on any of the finishes. So it still matters if he wants to win the jersey as opposed to simply finishing.Jibbering Sports Stuff: http://jibbering.com/sports/0
