    Rick's team classiness table

Note, being a gimpy new skool team counts heavily agains you. Being seen as a bunch of hard men who do stuff old skool counts heavily in favour.

I fear this has been lost amongst the Eddy Smerckxs.

What would Greenedge need to do to move up a tier. Aside from not being Australian?

Do we really think Sky deserve to be on the same tier as Omega? Sky beside BMC looks right for all the same reasons.

Omega should join Liquigas on the top tier

Nah. QS are too one sided.

    Great work with the tables.

Any chance we could get some kind of hissy fit/toys out of pram chart to balance out all the panache and classiness?

My money is on Cadel 'don't stand on my dog or i'll cut your head off' Evans!

No chance. It'll be Mark "Liver on his Sleeve" Cavendish.

I remember in the tour a few years ago when he threw his helmet away as he got into the team bus and the chap from ITV (probably Ned) said something along the lines of "Mark Cavendish wasn't available for comment, but he sent his helmet out to speak on his behalf".

Surely if its classiness that's being ranked, then doping/implications of doping and personality/lack of it should come into it too? ...might be able to do that by getting the results and then flipping them the way they're heading... although this would raise people like EBH up and he's void of personality so he might end up too high for one example.

Oh well, easier just to watch the cyclebiking and like who you like :)

    Are you on crack?

A good climber is capable of deciding a stage in a single stage. Half of the names listed above shouldn't even make tier 5.

Right then, Mr N95. Tier these according to degree of "Corporate Whoredom"

    Basso cooking shoes
    Cav flogging shampoo
    Boonen with pate or laminate
Farrar with sunnies, sorry, "Transition" lenses
    Bertie with matresses
A greased Pipppo dry-humping a pair of Sidis

Couldn't find Boonen flogging Spam but before Spartacus became popular as the nickname for the Swiss Beast, Boonen had a pretty good stab at the gladiatorial angle

and let's not forget The Lion King resplendent in nothing but Reeboks
