by the sounds of it you r calling me a LIAR !!
    but
sorry sirs 4 the spelling mistakes GET A LIFE YE SADOS !!
in his (now locked) puncture thread wasn't until Saturday 7th. I think I win, but Ralph (sic) and Paul E should get a special mention.

I wonder if he comes back to look at his legacy?

One word in caps lock is acceptable though slightly misguided emphasis - it doesn't properly count. A whole sentence (if you can call it that) in caps lock is the true indication of someone who has lost it! Don't rain on my parade man

I do hope and trust he comes back to look. I fondly hope he'll try and sign up with a new id and selflessly provide us with some more entertainment.

OK Ralph, I'll let you have that. The funny thing is I went out of my way in earlier posts to point out that I wasn't calling him a liar.
Maybe if we ask the mods/admins nicely, they'll send him an email asking him to come back?!
FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
    FCN 4: Planet X Schmaffenschmack 2- workhorse
FCN 9: B Twin Vitamin - winter commuter/loan bike for trainees

    I'm hungry. I'm always hungry!

Possibly, but I'm not baking him a cake!
Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.

Not even one with nice pink icing and a bow on it?

That is mightily impressive. Did you bake the cake just for this thread?

We don't just laze around looking at nudey women in Cake Stop you know.
  • happened to me on my 2 week old Hyrbid Comp. Luckily it was the inner screw that sheared off and I just had to put up with annoying tinkling sound. Will now go and check other 3 though. Sorry to hear about your injuries. Hope you get proper settlement etc.

They tried to kill me with some mudguards a while ago.....but then I detest txt speak and flaming, so if it is a eugenics policy then those are not the criteria.

not sure whether you mean from your post that halfords fitted mudguards that malfunctioned? I recently had very close call on my new hybrid comp when rear mud guard got sucked into the wheel. What mudguards did you have fitted?

    Cheers.
  • just in follow-up to this thread, my boardman hybrid team failed me yesterday as the handle grip grommit popped off leaving me holding the grip absent the bar. i'm typing on one hand today while the shoulder is in a sling after the dislocation was corrected at the A&E last night. not a happy camper.

    IT'S NOT A GROMMET.....It's the lock ring.....

Not really Halfords fault as the part is fitted by Boardman (aka Merida) at the Factory, same part as fitted to many other bikes (Voodoo).
