No, I think he thought the rest of the peleton was going to hit him and he ran away. Just clipped Laneveld's front wheel with his foot.

Spectacular crash. Langeveld holding his shoulder afterwards.

Ridiculous riding by Langeveld. Spectator came off fairly well considering.

Boonen back to the front of the Peleton now.

Someone has to make a move soon. Surely!
  • Snapped his forks didn't he? Saw something bouncing down the road, then his front wheel

    Afternoon,

Take away has done me proud!

Totally Knackered after MTB race this morning, actually caught myself whimpering at one point :( Now I know how Cav felt at MSR!!

It surprisingly hot here today - fist day of properly warm weather we ve really had so far - caught a few people out with dehydration/cramp. I ended up lying flat on my back in the bar having two skinny dutch guys fondling my legs!

    Carnage.

Selection made by the fence. Boonen and Chavanel in the front group as a result of that.

Are Pip & Thor in the front or they missed it?
  • Comedy of errors this!

Quick summary please, kids and Eurosport cockups mean I'm currently just looking at some men riding bikes with no idea what's going on. And has my PTP pick cursed Sagan?

New course is not exactly distinguishing itself.

Hasn't produced much of a race so far.

Right, I can see Boonen, Sagan, Chavanel, Flecha in group 1, with EBH trying to get back to it. Where's Chinny? How much time have they got and is anyone trying to pull them in?

Was looking good for Sky but now Flecha looks uncomfortable and EBH can't get across after the crash held him up. Looking better and better for Boonen but hopefully Sagan will take it and give me some PTP points.

Sagan's in the lead group of 10 or so, with Boonen, Chav and I don't know who else. EBH chasing, none too successfully. Cancellara's out with a broken hip. Doesn't look likely that anyone will catch the leaders.

They looked in a much stronger position than that though, before the crash
