Cunego seems to go downhill pretty quick, but there is a small gap to Sky's challenge

LOL: Levi's lads attack Piti after a mechanical and a crash in the feed zone.
I'm sure Wiggins and the other twitter lads will be quick to call Bottle out for being a bad sportsman.

Was a bit of a Sky train ala 2010....

Set it up perfectly for someone else.

    Albasini wins.

Since I missed Valvarde's mechanical - are we putting the responsibility of the gap growing to 2 minutes with Quick-Step?

Well, from the coverage, they were hammering along on the front, so the breakaway was swept up very, very early.
Must have attacked out of the feed zone, when Valverde came down.
Of course, to payback bad sportsmanship with a potentially worse piece of sportsmanship is perfectly acceptable.
I'm sure Cath will agree. :P

    Who? Valverde and Leipheimer?

They'll both follow each others wheel and end up riding around in circles like a dog chasing its tail.

So, can Albasini hold onto the lead today? He's got 1 min 32 and is a reasonable climber from memory but it's a tough stage a there is no small amount of climbing talent here.

It would be a lot of time to lose. Do we know the weather forecast. Talk of snow yesterday- that might help him if the stage is shortened.
