'Dance' music when played anywhere other than in a club.

Other than that I was relieved when Macy Grey stopped being in fashion as her voice made me grind my teeth down to stubs!

    + 1 Jazz

I live in Newark on Trent. lots of fantastic places mainly by the riverside to eat drink and socialise, but this town has a god foresaken habit of spoiling any establishment with Sh*t Jazz.

Musical Masturbation thats the best description I ve heard of it, and the last thing I want during a quite pint is some protenscious Wa*ker jacking off in the room.

    The Smiths, more specifically Morrisey.
U2. I once went to see the film Rattle and Hum with a group of Danish au pairs, my charm didn't work and they got the hump with me snoring through the film.
Coldplay, and other purveyors of ditchwater dull dirges.

When my eldest was five (he's now 20 so it wasn't yesterday), we were moving house and he came across my stash of albums as they were getting boxed up, after being stored in the loft for ages. "Wow Dad" he said "look at the size of these CD's....!"

    Seriously?

Jeez man, educate your kids! :P

I was having pubescent arguments with my mate about the virtues of vinyl over CD over MP3 when I was 15 (2003).

Hovering over the big red record button on the Casette player waiting for the optimum moment to record the songs you loved from the charts on a Sunday afternoon, just praying that DLT , Mike Read or whoever it was in the day wouldnt cut in before the end and youd got it on the C90.

Napster's got nothing on that , now thats real Pirate material.

dmclite 2.0 has all the best ones already. Spot on re: Oasis too: 1 Great Album, numerous crap ones.

Scotland produced Runrig and The Proclaimers. But they also produced Teenage Fanclub, Mogwai, Jesus and Mary Chain and loads more good-uns.

Whoever said Beautiful South is on the money too. Twee beyond belief.

simply red 1000 times. If I had 5 bullets to do away with the worst musicians ever I'd shoot Mick Hucknall 5 times just to be sure.

Then I'd club Bono to death with the gun butt.

Maroon 5, Oasis, The Beatles, any of the TV talent show gop, disco. the Whitney houston/Mariah Carey/Beyonce wailing noises, stevie wonder, funk.
