No, I wouldn't. But these days loads of people have a big identifiable internet presence - letters to Universities aren't the sort of things that are going to stand out as big negatives. I think a presence on the BBC is going to be an interesting change to the predictable photos of drink and drug addled parties (but even those I wouldn't hold against a prospective employee though obviously some might).
