My riding buddy wears sky kit.

I don't, only because I don't want to clash

Said Jersey arrived today, chuffed with it, looks smart on, bit tight round the Stomach, but its an incentive to lose a few pounds.

Ive only ever seen one bloke in a sky jersey on my sunday run out, so hopefully it isn't being done to death around these parts, alhough with the cav move it might not be long untill everyman and his dog is wearing a sky kit (doubful).

Don't take it personally :) I'm talking in general and don't want offend anyone here, but some people, and I'm not going to mention names, are just a little bit daft and take things like replica kit too seriously :) I could wear flashy pinky kit and wouldn't give monkeys what someone thinks :) your money, your choice. Worse it's when a 20 stone lad rides 6k pinarello but that's still fine because we don't know the reason why he bought it. As long he enjoys it's perfect :D have to edit as I seem to eat words while writing on the mobile. Sorry :)

I'm not competent enough to say that.

    You've guessed it already.

The post may have not added anything constructive to the overall discussion however, with the "flow" of the conversation I couldn't resist some innocent winding up :P you can hate me if you wish. I don't really care :)

No I wasn't. Well, if I were English I would be more confident at these things, but being not I don't have that opportunity. Maybe in 20 years studying/teaching I would be next Dr. House.

You have already proven that your posts speak more than your legs. So, everything would be better for you than spending 24h/7 on this forum :)

Really though, what are you even talking about?

Actually, I've been looking for some solid evidence that usage of smileys on internet forums is inversely proportional to a poster's intelligence.

    Thank you.

And you haven't found unfortunatelly, have you? Can you share your wisdom with us, and tell me what else tells you that I am not intelligent? I am curious to know.

If you cannot understand what am I writing, then I can only feel sorry for you. As I have mentioned before, I am not English, so there can be differences in writing styles etc. However, if I wasn't able to spell correctly I wouldn't been doing what I am doing now. So, sorry, you failed.

None, I was just wondering why you think it acceptable to have a go, when he's stated he's not English, but it's not acceptable when others do it ?

Perhaps I should have preceeded your quote with something like; 'previously written by Jim in a similar situation'.

Glad you like the jersey, but a little disappointed that noone asked for your autograph. Give it time though. Failing that, get yourself a world champ jersey, that will definiteely attract attention

and if all else fails, complain to Wiggle !

    Stop press!

Said jersey is now being returned to wiggle, somebody at work kindly pointed out all the stiching on the reverse at the bottom (which makes it nice and springy) had come undone (id only been on the bike for 20 minutes, and hadn't snagged anything, and im not so fat that the top exploded). I don't blame wiggle though, i blame Murdoch.

Dissapointed, but have requested a replacement. :(
