Stage win? Who needs it. How about a yellow jersey to console yourself.

Shame, IMO Andy is much more deserving of the Yellow than Cadel is.

    Serious question: based on what?

For actually attacking. All I've seen from Cadel is him being on the defensive, don't get me wrong it's amazing what he's done without any help, but I'd rather see a winner who has been attacking to get there.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you hadn't watched the Tour this year.

What a lovely afternoon it's been.
You might have had a response from a pro cyclist on Twitter, you may even have chatted to a 'journo', but ultimately, you still know nothing. You're not an insider, no matter how much you wish you are.

Don't forget that Andy did a super champion ride. That counts.

Why? He's a one trick pony.

Agreed. I wonder if Schleck will have it in him to be graceful at the end of this?

Yep, I've gotta agree with that.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Painful to see him lose this way, I'd rather a European won the race however hats off to Evans. Shame he didnt win the stage, did he win any stages this year??

it has been an awesome tour though. the attacks by Andy and Bertie and even though Cadel does n't have the acceleration to get away, the way he drove the chasing groups was phonomenal.

Voekler was awesome too and the Manx Mouth finally should win green????

He won stage 3. I would have preferred to see Andy win it, but as has been said before it's each to their own.

I like to see attacks in the mountains and would love to see a pure climber win it like Pantani did.

Others prefer someone who can time trial well and limit their losses in the hills, and it's not for anyone to say that one way of winning is 'better' than the other. It's just personal preference.

Fair comment. I agree with this but don't like Andy, like Cadel a lot and Andy has many more opportunities to come.

I know some people don't like tours being won in a TT, but what's better than the winner being unknown until the final day?
