What a stage that was! Having a wee beer to calm myself down and lube my throat after all the shouting!

All set up now for an Evans win and a well deserved one at that. Id love to see Tommy make the podium. Although be tough ask to take the time back on Frank in the TT.

    Basso came over 2.08 back.

He's not cutting it any more - perhaps he should think about hanging his shoes up.

Maybe he should stick to doing Corny Sidi adverts :D

I do like Ivan, but given he passed on the Giro to take part in the Tour, his efforts have been disappointing :(

I wonder if that stage will encourage future early attacks or discourage them? It is certainly the way to go, more short mountain stages, more medium mountain stages and just the occassional longer attritional mountain stage.

amazing race. but Rolland didnt work one meter and makes one to death, and than he Attackt the last 2 km. something does not make it.

    .......

To be fair, what I saw, Samu did entire work which is annoying. But then Rolland has ridden on the front for so so long this Tour in the mountains.

    Incidently, I timed Rolland's climb at 41.10.

thats seriously impressive after the Galibier, even with the tunnel.GC contender in future.

Why did the clock show 21 minutes just before Cav came into the finishing straight? Thought he'd made it as first!

Cav in a large group so should be safe.

Definitely Rojas with Cav in that group (Imlach must be blind). So as long as he's ahead of him on Sunday, it's green jersey for Cav.

Unless Rojas wins the intermediate and Cav doesn't place  Let's hope Cav doesn't take any undue risks in trying to win the stage (or that he doesn't get eliminated in the TT!).
