Just so you know, the origional decals on rockshox revs are laquered on and cannot be removed. You can get some rockshox ones that are the same shape as the original in gold (which come with the forks if you buy boxed aftermarket ones) to stick over the top.

I might have a set of them that came with my new revs that I dont need If your interested?

Just checked, lacquered over. I assume you just stick the decal over the existing one. Only thing is, your replacement decals you posted a pic of earlier in the thread look different

Thanks for checking, the replacements i have are just extras for the top of the forks, i was just going to have them on plain black forks, but looks like i wont be now, oh well.

You can get ones like these to stick over the top of the originals:

Another thing I forgot to say. If you want everything to kind of match. You need to careful on the gold colour. For example to me the KCNC chian bolts looks more like Chris King Gold which is kind or Orange Gold. But the looks of things the parts that you have are kind of pale gold like your pedals, Hope seat clamp and so on. Gold colour scheme on a Black frame will look hotter only if they all match :D
    Vodka anyone? "Honk"

Thanks, it is hard to judge the colour compared to other parts on line so I guess it will be a little trial and error.

well I just got the KCNC ones and I see what you mean about the colour, it is nothing like the other parts, I wouldn't even call it gold, so I will be sending them back and looking elsewhere. Any recommendations of other makes? The only other ones I can see are unbranded items.

    Thanks

If you want branded, right colour gold and quality then Carbon-Ti, Extralite and Tiso (All from Italy) they do some nice stuff.
I buy alot my bolts-Alloy from Nano Bike http://www.nano-bike-parts.de/ and Toronto Cycles for Ti bolts (the cheapest and good quality Titanium none of your crappy Chinese flea Bay stuff  ) http://www.torontocycles.com/

I have come across these from CRC, I phoned them and asked them to compare the shade next to a hope seat post clamp, they say the colour is very close, would someone mind taking a look and letting me know what you think.

    Thanks

Well after 2 weeks off work I am due back to work tomorrow, And guess what??? Yep my bike is due for delivery tomorrow, ON-ONE were ONE-OFF, they had a mechanic off sick apparently, I was hoping to have it last week so I could enjoy some of my holiday riding.

Oh well it will be here tomorrow and I am like a kid at Christmas.

I am looking at getting some gold bolts, someone on another thread has said they use aluminium bolts for there callipers, is that wise or should i stick to steel or Ti.

I'd stick to steel or Ti for calipers, alu isn't worth the risk. If your brakes came with silver bolts you should be able to find black steel bolts somewhere if you're lucky.

Good matching on the gold bits.. I had the same headache with mine but was trying to match with the more orangey kcnc seatclamp. The Wellgo gold ano is even more so..

Are some chainring bolts of any use to you? if so le me know I have not sent the KCNC ones back and they would look good on yours.

Ok just spent a bit of time setting up the bike and first impressions are good, Size is perfect (16" Frame) first ride around the block was good, it is fast and light responds well, I need to set the forks up correctly as yet and a few other bits, Overall I am happy.

I have a few niggles that I need to speak with On-One about but thats for there ears.

The Bike, Spec in first post.

Weighing in at 25lb bang on but I plan to shed a little weight over time.

I had my first decent ride today for about an hour and half, the rev's are now set up and there performance is excellent, the bike is fast, it climbs well (for someone that hates climbing) nice and fast on the down's and very responsive.

There are only 2 changes i will make to the bike ASAP and that is Saddle and bars, the saddle would suit my 2 year olds hotrock better with the childish graphics, and I would like a lower rise bar than what is on it now.

    overall 10/10
