    I think Thor will need to do the same thing i.e pick up serious points at the intermediate and on the finish) on another mountain stage in order to get back into the running for the green jersey as he'll lose so many points to Cav on the two remaining flat sprints and in any intermediates. Remember that there are fewer green jersey points at the finish of medium and high mountain stages than there are on flat stages.

    I think Thor is doing this for the stage win, not the green jersey.

    Just saw a shot of Moncoutie and Thor riding up the road together. With about a dozen cars and half a dozen motorbikes around them.

    And who says there are too many vehicles in the race?
