I have been told I can have one by she who must be obeyed, but not until after holidays, which is the beginning of June, then of course there is the 4 month, this one, then no, that one, then, maybe even this one, then back to the first one and one day you just walk into a shop and go, thats it, I gotta leave here with that one, job done, lol

Just post a thread with nothing in it other than 'Tell me what carbon bike to buy'. Don't mention budget, your proportions or what sort of cycling you do. Ideally mention that you've heard one of the following is crap - Campagnolo, SRAM, Shimano. As a wild card, you could say that you don't want an alloy frame. PM P_Tucker to the thread because he'd hate to miss it.

I think that should be fun!

I was thinking of one of these, but as some of you may have guessed by now, i openly admit to knowing bu@@er all about carbon, groupsets, wheels, tyre options, pedals etc etc etc, and hence I always post up in the beginners section and ask dumb questions :D

Lapierre Sensium 100, 2010 model of £1100? DAMN, thats only for the 58cm option

I tried once, but I got swamped by idiots. From then on I've been concentrating on keeping idiots at bay with sarcasm and condescension.

Fair enough, but maybe the road beginners section is the wrong place to hang out.

Why hang around somewhere that is clearly going to be the home of basic low level questions if you don't have time for such banality? Why don't you lobby Bikeradar for a road experts section where you would be fully justified in sarcasm and condescension when somebody posted a naive comment?
Do you go on rides with novice mates and take the mick out of how slow they are too?
