interesting how you pay no attention to petacchi's background...
How many pictures do you see of the laughing group? Very very few.
Same thing in the Tour last year where people reported him hanging onto cars.
How many fans do you see on a climb filming everything with their mobile? Lots and lots.
Famous people can barely fart without it ending up on YouTube.Twitter: @RichN950 -
The commies would have seen it and slapped him with a fine. Ergo it's a bit of sledging.
Move along.
Anyhow, nice to see a rider, interviewed, out of puff after making a big effort to take a stage.......................unlike the last bloke."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Maybe you should take Physical Education 101 class...
Anyway, last 5km. Boring sprint if ever there was one. Cav didnt have an HTC rider inside 1km either.

Surely by the time Cavendish came through on Etna everyone was at home?
Also, I'm not sure you can point-and-laugh while filming somethingFckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -

You're absolutely fantastic. I don't think I could ever make up something that sounds that odd.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
"I know what he (Ventoso) said," Cavendish told Eurosport. "If I stop for a p*** or a wheel change I have the cameras in my face - and it's always like that with me. Our team is currently leading the fair play standings. I know what I do and my team do too."
-Nien. All photo journos and cameramen are at the front end. Very hard pressed to find images and videos very far back of the front.
Also, Giro 2008, Pozzato:
“Cavendish is dangerous because he never brakes and tries to go through impossible gaps.
“He was the first to sign the UCI ethics charter but then hangs onto the team car and then contests the sprints. He’s right to make a stand against doping but cheating like that is almost as bad as doping.
“You’ve got to have respect for the other riders in the race who made it over the climb or suffered in the finale of a tough stage.”
Cavendish hit back in today’s edition of the Italian sports paper.
He said: “Pozzato accused me of holding onto cars but I’ve never done that.Contador is the Greatest0 -

You remind me of the u368 bloke.
Did Cav give you the knock back when you tried it on with him or somethin.
The main problem is everyone is just gonna start dismissing your posts as crap before they've even read them, and just skip on past.0 -
Talk about light the blue touch paper & stand clear! Still putting distance into the rest at the line.Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.0

Pozzato has always had a beef with Cav ever since they were juniors so whatever he says and vice versa to pozzato is porbably best taken with a cup full of salt.,
PS Cav already responded to your comment about "Black" shoes before you even made it. He must follow your posts: http://twitter.com/#!/MarkCavendish/sta ... 8570939392@MarkCavendish - http://twitgoo.com/28mbo9 the contents of said package this morning.... cue the "urgh... black shoes" responses from the flash bastards...

here is a nice picture of Cavy getting some help for a fake mechanical problem. I think he had a problem with his push up underwear.0 -

You could get a similar picture for any pro.
What about Garzelli the other day blatantly drafting?0 -

Cavendish finished last in Sunday’s stage, crossing the line with three HTC-Highroad teammates and three other riders at 26:35 back, making the time cut by just 30 seconds.
Ventoso didn’t duck at the finish line in Teramo. After finishing second to Cavendish in the sprint, he reconfirmed earlier statements and yet again accused Cavendish and his HTC teammates of taking pulls up Etna.
“Everyone clearly saw it. And it wasn’t just Cavendish, but also his set-up men and the ones who pull the peloton along at 70kph. They had two rest days,” Ventoso said. “We should all feel cheated. I don’t if it’s the commissaires making exceptions or just turning the blind eye. If he’s pulling on the car, he should be sent home.”
Cavendish shot back at Ventoso, but refused to take the bait entirely.
“If Ventoso wants to start a fight with me about who cheats, I can push it back on him,” Cavendish said in a veiled comment to Ventoso’s 2008 doping case for diuretics. “I could make some accusations against Ventoso about cheating, but I am not going to because I don’t need to.”
The issue will likely simmer, especially with Ventoso riding on good form and only one real sprint opportunity remaining in this Giro in Thursday’s 12th stage.0 -
Zomegnan doesn't give a sh*t 'cos he knows Cav's going home on Thursday anyway.
Last year Farrar and a load of others finished outside the time cut and the comissaires just penalised them with points0 -
You clearly feel strongly about him, why not do something constructive like write a hate letter to Cavendish using cuttings from newspapers glued on to paper or hang around outside his house with derogatory banners or something.0
-
This whole accusation of cheating is laughable. I suppose Movistar riders never get a sticky bottle or indulge in a spot of blood doping. Oh.0
-
I think when Pettachi beat Cavendish earlier in the race and he was saying if he's moved like Petacchi did the comms would've penalised him. This "holding onto cars" thing is the same kind of stuff.
There's a reason stuff like that happens and it ain't because he's fast.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
It's because he's very fast.0

Was working all day so could nt watch it (on my birthday and all!!! ) - some thoughts watching FF's link:
*David millar's attack was awesome, even though i know he did nt make it I still wanted him to win!
*The number of teams that screwed up their lead out's is laughable - why was the guy from sky pulling for so long when their sprinter was nowhere near the front? Plus the guy from QS sprinting off the front, looking around for his guy behind him and realising he's nowhere to be seen! Perhaps this is why Cav, Thor and Pettchi win so often! The other teams should practice rather than whinge!
*Cav's Italian is fuunnyy (but way better than my Dutch so fair play!)
*The whole getting a lift off a car accusation is laughable, Ventoso obviously went to the same school as Alex Ferguson! We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

What is up with this Cornomead fella?
Did he come home early from double maths and find Cav "getting a tow" from his mum?0 -
How soon that some of us forget a certain 'Beefy' Bertie drafting the motorbikes on the Annecy TT in the TdFM.Rushton0

found this gem...
Another claim levelled at Cavendish was his refusal to do his share of the work in the 'grupetto', … On Sunday, Cavendish made sure he will make even fewer friends among his fellow strugglers in the mountains when he said he would continue sitting at the back and not taking his share of the relays. "I'm just content to stay there," he told French television. "I have to share my energy at certain moments in the race." http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/m ... ons-22416/
and Cavy fans are surprised with the allegations of the TOW. The guy is an arse.0 -

Some of us have been Cav haterz for years. But you're giving us a bad name now with your excessive creepiness.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Good balanced view here-

But it's funny how the fact that 'everyone's doing it' has been used to justify more unsavoury practices0 -
