Giro Stage 10 ***SPOLIER***

Michele Scarponi says...
"It falls after the rest day so it's a bit scary. It's a long drag to the finish so it will be exciting racing. I don't think it will be a sprint but maybe a group of 20 or so. It looks really good for Di Luca, assuming he's not riding for GC."
I hope Scarponi is correct.

Post - rest day stages are interesting - since everyone is affected by it differently.
For example, Boogerd always did badly after rest days.0 -
I can't see it being everything but a sprinters stage. It goes along the coast before turning for the last few kilometeres. Rises by about 100m in 10 km0

ha me too. though he did get 3rd. Was looking for a bright pink lampre jersey, forgetting he's got the sprinters top on0 -
At least Ventoso came in 2nd for me0

Appollonio continues his brilliant consistenty of always placing 5th or 6th!
Seriously though, for a young guy that's impressive..with a better lead out and a year or two mores experience and training we could see some serrious wins from him."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0
