Amazing that Hushovd and Ballan should refuse to do any work to get across and then, when Cancellera rightly refused to give them an armchair ride all the way across the gap, prefer just to watch the race ride away from them!

They know he's going to go again.

Gap, 1.10. Distance to the finish, 24k. All a bit too late methinks.

    45" with 22km to go

You have a very utopian view of racing.

Perhaps you should offer your skills to ASO as chief script writer? After all, you seem to want racing to happen a certain way, not the natural way

Im sure Cancellara is going to go again. Somebody needs to or the break are going to take this.

How bad? The break have ridden well - I wouldn't mind if one of them won. (Even if it is radioshack)

The fact of the matter here is everyone has sussed canc. They'll just hang on to the rocket and when he tires, he'll get jumped. The only person here he has to blame is himself for trying the same tactic over and over. Unfair as it may seem to FF, a cyclist has to think on the road and change tactics accordingly. It seems now just trying to TT away is now crossed off Fabs tactics sheet. Let's hope he has a few more down the list.

I'd love to see Vansummeren win. Had he not worked for Hoste in 2009, he could have won then.
