Does anyone have a link to the full results? I'm wondering where Basso was.

I can just find top 10 at the moment. If Schlecks came in well back I wont be surprised. If Basso does I will.

    Stage 1 results
    1 Joaquim Rodríguez (Katusha) 4:02:42
    2 Samuel Sánchez (Euskaltel-Euskadi)
    3 Andreas Kloden (RadioShack)
    4 Chris Horner (RadioShack) + 0:01
    5 Ryder Hesjedal (Garmin-Cervélo) + 0:06
    6 Damiano Cunego (Lampre-ISD)
    7 David López (Movistar)
    8 Robert Gesink (Rabobank)
    9 Danilo Di Luca (Katusha)
    10 Xavier Tondo (Movistar)

Joaquim is unbeatable on those steep as you like climbs. Maybe Contador would edge him, but only just and not every time. He has a decent sprint on him too.

Very nice to watch. Kloden going well given his age. Shack, are topping tables so far this year, very impressive.

He couldn't finish like that today.

A very quick flick of the wrist was all he could manage.

Not often I get to shout about anything, but I want you all to know I was out riding with Chris Horner last Friday morning in Denia, Spain. :D

Thoroughly nice bloke, he suffered the usual photofest without complaint and maintained a smile for everyone, couldn't have been nicer, then we saddled up and headed up the coast road for ten miles or so. Brilliant.

    Here you go.

If it helps your PTP, he was very looking forward to the Tour of the Basque Country. Hungry for it!

Did he make you beg and cry as he cruised on off into the distance and left you grovelling over your handlebars?

James, bloke in Sky jersey is 6' 5", makes most people look small. Good climber too

Chris Horner's Wiki page shows his height at 5' 11", but he's nowhere near that, more like 5'8" maybe 5'9". Nice guy, really impressed with him.

Garmin seem to have borrowed the 2010 Sky tactics manual.

What are they trying to achieve- the bunch still looks pretty big.

Jaysus, that motorbike rider nearly takes out J Rod, then two minutes later nearly flattens Uran.

That was smart win for Kiryienka, Movistar were bossing it at the end there.
And too right about the camera bike, that bloke needs to sort his positioning out big time!!

Stage 3 on the go, 3 man break: Moinard, Pineau & Bellotti lead by 3.14 after 121 of 180KM.

That's a disaster. Maybe I should watch Cav win the other race.
