Men's Worlds Road Race **Spoilers**
The coverage should have started by now, 2340 BST according to the BBC website, but it hasn't.
Who's up for pulling an all-nighter? I'm going to have some naps on the sofa - I've done this before.
Personally I'm all for a Cavendish win, and I think he can do it.
Wins by Gilbert or Cancellara would be fine by me.
Anyone but Pozatto - I can't stand him.

Anyone but Allan Davis.
As I wrote a bit earlier, because of the 80km section out to Geelong, pan flat, the riders only tackle the circuit 11 times, once more than the espoirs. So relatively it's not that hard. Yes the steep hill could see a selection but it's not hard to imagine 40 guys being there, especially with the descent into the finish. Without proper team and trains, it could be a bit of a lottery. Maybe Hushovd is one to watch here but it could be anyone.
I picked Gilbert because he can attack and he can sprint. I'm worried he's peaked too early with his form but he's bound to try and grab a result.0 -
I'll be up watching it. Did it for the women's last night. Boring as f8ck for the first hour and a half - but good at the end.
Will probably take a nap on the sofa for the boring bits.

Meanwhile, on BBC One, Steve Claridge is giving his opinion on the favourites. They're gona take it kilometre by kilometre, get stuck in there, and the winner will be the one who gets his head to the front first...0

Claridge will definitely have a bet on it though. He won't be able to resist.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Race has started. Already the attacks are going, looks like the usual sacrificial lambs are jumping off the front. Venezuelans, Irish and there must be an Iranian and a Korean too.0

I qualify for the Irish drinking team through my grandparents0

Clever move. Roche can bridge across later and then use him as a springboard to attack.
More seriously, we should also watch the GC guys from the Vuelta. Nibali isn't a fast finisher but could profit from people watching Pippo, whilst both Roche and Velits can handle themselves in a sprint.0 -

That's the Ireland that Liverpool is in. Not the real Ireland.
It's OK - I grew up in Canada, live in England and ride for the Irish team. 8)
Greg Rusedski, Owen Hargreaves and (in reverse) Lennox Lewis would be ashamed.Twitter: @RichN950 -

THis is the part of the coverage where you can make up your own commentary and Hugh has gone for a fag break.
Over 4 mins now for the break.0 -

They've only got three riders. This lot will be caught with 100km to go, at least. If you want to create a bridge do it with 60-70km to go.0
