Of course.
However, when using a 'head2head; basis both riders need to be in the same race to count. Pre-2005 Alberto didn't race against Armstrong, therefore pre-2005 doesn't count. Post TDU 2010, the 2 riders are unlikey to race together again. So we might have to final score.
Not to be taken seriously.
And in half the races they're both sitting comfortably in the peloton.
Nope Bertie always races to win with panache ill have you know he does not sit comfortably in the peleton........ever.Gasping - but somehow still alive !0 -

As it should be. Fans don't want friendship. Contador has been too kind to him on occasion and shouldn't. Contador for the win in this year's Tour. Failing his participation, I go for the King of the Race Face.
AC went down in my estimation when he apologised for the chain incident, as did AS for whining like a bitch about it. Funny how AS hasn't made anything of the fact that AC was later caught cheating red-handed...0 -

I always wonder about forum posters putting these big smily pictures or of ostriches with heads in sand or black kettles...maybe the ability to express ones opinion logically and well using the English laguage escapes them.
At the bare bones, Contador would have killed Lance in all the Tours he rode. And for me cycling includes much more than the Tour, something not understood by summer cyclist fans.
ff, this is the most useful photograph you have ever posted. There is so much I can do with these at Easter with the Sunday School.
Can you post the link to where you found them please?0 -

1 year ban!! Done!!
http://www.elpais.com/articulo/deportes ... dep_13/Tes
The Spanish cycling federation has reported this afternoon to Alberto Contador who will be penalized one year for his positive and 50 pg of clenbuterol in the last Tour de France . The Competition Committee of the federation has agreed to this decision, which was scheduled to be announced Thursday. Contador has 10 days to make representations against the decision, so that the final opinion can occur on 9 February. Pinto cyclist thus also lose the title last won the Tour (the third so far in his career).0 -
Contador is the Greatest0

Not nearly the end of the matter as both sides (Contador, UCI) likely to appeal to CAS in order to get the decision changed in their 'favour'.
But I would think that at the very least - the one year ban will stick as the minimum punishment.0 -
So is Contador going to retire now as he said he would?
Of course not, he'll be back for the Vuelta. I wonder whether he will even try to appeal the decision or whether he'll just take it like a man? Hopefully the UCI will push for a longer ban, but i'm not holding my breath."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -
I guess the appeal is just a formality in his case. If he doesn't appeal and just walks away could it be seen as an admission of guilt.
It will be interesting to see what the UCI has to say..0 -

So does this mean that Andy Schleck wins the 2009 and 2010 TdF and Armstrong gets 2nd place in 2009?Life is like a roll of toilet paper; long and useful, but always ends at the wrong moment. Anon.
Think how stupid the average person is.......
half of them are even more stupid than you first thought.0 -

So we have a decision...but not necessarily the final one.
This sport really is a joke sometimes."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

We can only hope he retires, leaving cycling with one less cheat. But of course that statement will be just bluster and the weasel will be back to stink out the sport all too soon. It’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.0 -
I suspect they'll back him and play the 'accidental' contamination card.0
-
Of course they will back him. They want the Vuelta win if they can't get the Tour win. Plus there's always next year....0
