there seems to be a growing trend of building up sweet bikes never riding them then selling or riding them a couple of times then selling. done it myself , there needs to be a universal name for such a practice.

No, I don't own a BMW... and far from it, I had to sell all my bikes to get the one I wanted, times are hard on all of us.

Wasn't trying to be OTT, just had a couple of digs (in my WIP thread, and mentions in others about my Ads, it's gone, it's sold and bringing it up is pointless anymore. Just churlish.

Anyway, I won't be getting involved anymore, can't be arsed unless there is a direct comment aimed at me.

FFS, DMC built up a very nice bike, and then for whatever reason, he had to sell it on. What business is that of anyone on here? You have no idea as to what caused him to sell his bike, so instead of passing snippy little comments how about you just go ride your bike or something?

As for Cheesy, I think he's much like myself, he likes the act of planning and building a bike just as much as riding it. If he's got the time and money to do that, who gives a flying fcuk anyway. If the stuff he sells on is barely used, you can get a bargain. So rather than getting all bitchy about it, learn to embrace it.

Oh, and Ben, IIRC, Cheesy owned the Marin for longer than you owned the P7. Just saying.

Just really dont understand why some people on here take such offence to someone changing bikes frequently.
