Here is my new thread with the specs for the bike and all the final build pics in the opening posts so its easier to find (Specs after the pics).

Its taken a little while, but I'm really chuffed with the outcome and finally got the bike that I've wanted for a long time, besides the time taken to get the parts its been great to research the parts and I have learn't to build my very first ever bike from scratch (with exception to the wheels, they were hand built by Merlin).

EDIT: The pedals look all wrong, and according to reviews are crap. Get yourself some custom coloured SuperStar mags man!

Its strange how some peeps don't like the pedals, I think they look really nice, granted they aren't B.A Barracus gold chain swinging pimp, but they are very strong, match the colour scheme of the bike and don't look as big in the flesh as the pics make them out to be?

Actually, I have had my eye on a set of pedals for a little while and they have only just become available, but what colours would you guys say would match my build if I did decide to get them? :?:

you've got several matches that could work, if it were me, i'd finish it off going balls out with superstar ULTRA Mag CNC Pedals - Magnesium Alloys

black and red - red and black - gold and red - white - blue / red mixed pin - would all work

agreed with josh, the pedals do not suit the bike, but they are good pedals.



the bike looks stunning for sure, awesome spec, great looks and i'm sure it will perform well and i doubt you'll have to do any upgrades when you get some new pedals

no mate, just messing with you, still a fantastic groupset and a proper nice bike, pretty much how i would build my maxlight if i had that kinda money, i have the grips and pedals ands they're fantastic, loving the grips, loads of err grip and comfy too

Nope, the mech I have is supposed to be stronger, longer lasting and most importantly, away from my spokes It also matched the build better.

Looks very nice DMC, a very classy looking bike. Love the attention to detail and all the little touches.
I wouldn't worry about the pedals chap; just get it ridden - hopefull it'll beworth the wait
