This is big big news in the states, the thing is once it reaches tipping point when he or his team feel they will get found out (unless he has a fantastic defence) then we have to expect some staged press conference including an admission / apology / tears (in that order!)

There will come a point where the only positive way out [excuse the pun] is to ask for forgiveness...... which the americans will initially scorn but then lap up to the max!

Then you will get the imortalising hollywood blockbuster...

Radioshack sticks with Armstrong, saying the allegations are unsubstantiated. Even though at least one cyclist has indeed substantiated them.

Also, Armstrong is more popular that Bono, which I think is supposed to be a compliment, but could very well be a backhanded insult - who knows?

These won't be popular, but screw y'all!

Lance "Big Tex", he came from Austin
The races he won, must have been exhaustin
    We all know he's clean
    Just like he's always been
Floyd? "Sour milk - He's lyin'!"

    Lance Armstrong- the cycling saviour
As well as the Tour, he beat lethal cancer
    Floyd is a jerk
    With that drunken, ginge smirk
I just wish he was 6-feet under!

Lance Armstrong - the champion in yellow
If you say he doped, he'll bellow and bellow
    Floyd Landis tried
    What a cheater, he lied
    Armstrong's the #1 fellow!

Well, I'm not over 30, but I agree in any case that using lol is rarely acceptable. Except in limericks.

    You simply have to admit
Lance before was always most fit
It came as a shock when
    In two thousand and ten
His performance was simply quite, er, disappointing.

There was an old man named Howard
Whose love for Lance became soured
    Despite his advances
    LA said "No bromances.
You love 'the French', so you must be a coward"

“We understand that riders may be being offered sweetheart deals to change testimony that they have given in the past, under oath,”

But they aren't being offered deals to LIE about it. That's the major flaw with the lawyer's argument. The implication that the US Government is somehow bribing these witnesses to say things that didn't happen.

The lawyer is trying to cloud this. The USADA are offering deals to riders. They're not the law and they're allowed to do it under the WADA code.

I don't believe anyone involved in the case has said anything under oath as they're not a requirement of doping cases.

I hope Lance got this guy from Lawyers-4-U because if he's paying him a lot of money he might want to a refund.

He was out of his mind going for the comeback...

No actual X-rated photos though, which was disappointing (although thinking about it they would have been of Favre not her, so it's probably just as well).

PS It wasn't my intention to start a limerick competition, it was just a silly joke.
