Chapeau to Petacchi, though. Perfect position on that tricky last corner.

How do Sky manage to disappear from the front so quickly? That takes some skill
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

You see all he had to do was switch on the motor in his downtube at the right moment... And bham !!

    (only joking) very impressive indeed!

Watching the overhead again. Unbelievable speed from Mr Cavendash.
By about 7 or 8 bike lengths.

I'm thinking of putting money on Alonso for the F1, but then given my chequered history of betting on Spaniards I might not.

Absolutely awesome speed from Cav, pulling away from everyone for the last 250m once again

Fantastic... The 28 million are to be strong!!! Nice touch from Lance and the RS guys.

I thought the 28 was the amount of times lance crashed at this Tour de France
sorry catching up on the slander and gossip - great comment - most notable event, Lance got off in the early part of the stage for the first time,,,,,, were all the others just practice?

so where are all the muppets on here who two weeks ago were claiming Cav was a flash in the pan and had lost it ? Sheer class and speed, no need for a lead out train though his team always ride hard tocontrol breaks and Tony Martin did well for him again but at the end it was him against the rest and he came out way on top. When he is fit no one will touch him. Is that 14 stages in 3 years now?
Also good to see sky with a good leadout on two stages, that takes some doing, most teams are not strong enough todo that. EBH did quite well as he is not out and out sprinter.
Thomas had a sound tour also so good for the brits :D MAybe sky were showing Cav they can provide leadout for him
