I hope contador gets a bad reception if he takes the jersey. I would boo if I was there.

I've just got back home, can someone quickly sum it up so far?

Voeckler on his way to stage win Andy dropped a chain while attacking and Bertie saw this and took advantage of it and looks like he will take 30 secs of him

if you look at the replay.. AC attacks but then lets others take it up @ the front and then its down to racing again.. Maybe he said to the others.. hey lets wait up but they said "no feck off" and bertie cant just let them ride off

Andy Schleck attacked Contador and after he got a 3 meter gap, his chain fell off. Contador saw it and with Menchov/Sanchez attacked Andy. Andy took 12 seconds to get the chain back on, rode like a madman to the top of the mountain but couldn't pull them back and now the gap on the descent has gone from 15 seconds to 30.

Don't see Menchov and Sanchez sitting up, either. Contador was responding to Schleck's attack.
In order to sit up, all 3 would have to agree.
Otherwise, Contador would be giving time to the 2 men directly behind him in the GC.

A difficult race situation, he may regret, later.

Nothing happens and everyone complains that they're not racing.

Then something happens and everyone complains that they've started racing.

Why shouldn't they attack? Dropping a chain is nobody's fault but Schleck's. It's not bad luck, it's bad gear shifting.
Or his crappy Sram equipment letting him down at a vital moment!

He didn't seem overly concerned about that yesterday.

I really was hoping for a real TDF battle till the TT but I don't see how Andy can get 2 min ahead by the TT stage.

Dirk Hoffman's a long way from home today. The benefits of a quality motorhome, I suppose.

Wow, Sherwen and Ligget actually disagree on something. Sherwen thinks Contador should've waited, Ligget thinks he should have attacked.
