Could be the case. Do they think 30 secs is enough in the TT for Schleck? or some other
masterplan. Riis is quite good at plans and producing good TTs

Contador looked for the taking yesterday, but maybe he's playing games too.

If Contador isn't quite in the same form in the mountains as he was last year, it's not too far fetched to suggest he might not be quite as fast in the TT this year either.

I recon Andy might only need 1.20 odd to win.

Am sure Riis said they were looking for 1.30 in an interview the other day, so you could be right.

Breakaway starting on the Balès now. If nothing happens in the next hour, I'll concede to Blaze that this stage was, in fact, a load of rubbish 8)

One thing against contador in the tt is that it is completely flat.

He's only remembered for this one though:

Crash for Iban Mayoz and Anthony Geslin. Took them a while to get up, but they'll both get going again.

    Santambrogio abandoned earlier today.

Is that one as funny as the chicken?

I was thinking more: Basso (generally), Sastre (to win tour) and F Schleck (to win Swiss last month).

That marks the 5th day where Ligget said they're taking one last commercial vreak before going commercial free the rest of the way...and then took another commercial break five minutes later.

Last time we saw Voigt doing this in the mountains, Sastre won the Tour.

True, but Contador wasn't there that year.

My hope is that Andy can take enough seconds in the mountains so that his final TT and Contador's will be within 5 seconds of each other, keeping the result in doubt until the finish line. I'm guessing that's somewhere near 2 minutes.

Think Schlek is hoping bertie will fall of his bike or something? I just don't get him. Needs to attack. For him it's sh1t or bust surely?

  • who's the guy pulling on the front for saxo?

big wrinkles on his head, losing composure big time.

Chris Anker Sorensen. He always looks like that. Even in the team bus.

    And they lost Frank Schleck.
