Still not back on. He looks a bit "off". Broke his bike, too. His own fault or a mechanical, it seems.

Do you think we'll see some teams upping the pace a bit once Armstrong gets back on to try and put him in trouble?

Lost 30s according to the captions. As I said the bunch is starting to go faster with about 4 GC teams trying to get control at the front. He'll get back on.

2nd Armstrong chute of the day I believe.

He's crashed more in this Tour than he did in his entire winning streak

I note they gave Oscar some red and yellow tape, however.

The Rabo hotel will be good tonight. Freire, Garate and honorary Spaniard Menchov on one table... Boom, Gesink, Moerenhout and Tjallingii on another table. And Grischa Niermann in his room on his own :D

For, apparently, one of the best organised teams in the sport, sky do make some seriously odd tactical calls.

Not saying its a bad one, just can't see why you'd take it up now.

I can understand why Sky are doing it, but they don't have enough guys to pull if off. Liquigas in the Giro would have about 5 guys in the front.

That's kind of what I meant Iain. If you're gonna do it, do it properly. They've asked an awful lot of Flecha today and Thomas blew straight away.

Where are Gerrans, Cummings and Pauwels, thought they were supposed to be the mountain men for Sky? Wiggins is going to be on his own at the top of this climb I think.

You could tell Chavanel was stuffed even before he came on screen from the French shouting behind Harmon!

Are Sky expecting a Contador attack on last climb, and trying to isolate Armstrong, Evans etc from their domestiques in anticipation? Might work if BW can stick with AC......

    Maybe
