what i am saying is that for most people (there will be some smartarse exceptions to this generalisation on br of course) the choice of a ht is down to expense as opposed to desire.

Obviously you're on a mega troll here, and doing good work if I may say so ;) But most obsessive cyclists seem to have at least one of each and alternate them constantly.

Yeah, that's the problem with owning a very profitable business mate, opinionated people assume you're poor just because you have nothing to do all day.
Do you actually live in a cave or is just a bad photo ?

It's funny how in Motocross, or Rallying the discussion of "suspension or no suspension" never comes up.
You may have noticed the lack of engine on a push bike and the fact that a push bike is ever so slightly lighter?
No it's not. He's got an FS remember!

It's a silly argument, but it makes a point, in a really round about kind of way.
If no suspension was "better" then motorized vehicles would be making more use of rigid chassis.

I have more than enough power to muscle a heavy duty full suss up a hill. Why would I compromise and use a hardtail full time?

I was joking yeehaa. You really think I'd genuinely suggest that your bike weighs as much as a rally car.

    Edit: nevermind.
NOW what are you on about?
Sweet zombie jesus, you're a moron.

    Stop being a deliberate idiot.

You asked why rally cars have suspension if HT's are meant to be so good.
Someone else suggested it was to do with the weight difference.
I jokingly (note the emoticons) suggested that the weight difference didn't apply to FS because it's not "lighter" than a "motorized[sic] vehicle" used for "rallying" (a rally car?).
You then said that your FS is heavy but it's not an issue.
I pointed out that I was only joking.
You then forgot the previous quotes and called me a moron.

So that's what I'm on about. A fairly simple set of events. If you can't understand that then maybe
    you're a moron.

sheepsteeth: and your problem with poor people is?

anyway atm i have a hardtail. a hardcore hardtail(with soon adjustable travel) is the way to go IMO and espcially for what i ride. a FS would be pointless for me right now. but also the way to go is have a bike like i have + a freeride or dh FS bike. i shall be getting one in just over a year so that would be perfect
