It's just some times you've got to make demands -
for certain things before it gets too late.
    ...
Raise your voice - you'll be given a choice.
Just say nothing and you won't.

I've been having earworm problems for some days with this:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKLvKZ6nIiA

John Wayne said it was "the most un-American thing I’ve ever seen in my whole life". Must be good.

Tried explaining earworm problem & plot to 12YO - might have seen film before - & came up with "Nemesis".

Shriekback Nemesis might help a bit. Not sure it's strong enough though.

This morning I have got up to "Don't worry, be happy". Unfortunately not the original chart version but some ghastly advert with squeaky female backing vocals going "tweet tweet, tweet tweet". If anyone can find that one on Youtube or some such and help me exorcise it I will be extremely grateful.

Bleh. If I'd had a just OK german teacher I wouldn't have this problem.

Today, same as every day I cycle to and from work: the usual insepid mainstream crap off the radio. Mumford & sons and that effort that won something last year who whines his way through the song!
Now listening to the first Berzerker cd 8)

Various Bellowhead songs at the moment.
  • Deacon Blue, Dignity.

I had no Dignity as I panted this out for the hours commute this morning. It's even better when you forget most of the words and just stick with the "set it up, set it up" bit.

    I apologise.

  • Not a song , but I've had the phrase "totes amazeballs" stuck in my head for the last few rides - and I've no idea where I heard it, thankfully.

Can someone please suggest an annoyingly catchy tune that I can replace this with.

I've been listening to a lot of Lalo Schifrin recently (Bullitt and Dirty Harry soundtracks amongst others).

As a result all I can hear in my head is seedy Brazilian jazz, it's like having my own 70's soundtrack everywhere I go. I highly recommend it, particularly 'Shifting Gears', 'Scorpio's View' and 'The School Bus'.

This morning, it was some depressing John Lennon tune -"nobody told me there would be days like this...." or something like that. It was on the radio early in the week but my brain forwarded it on today! Thanks!

Just got a tune in my head seemingly from nowhere, it was bugging the life out of me. I could'nt let it go until I rememberd what it was, so much so that I had to walk aroud town for an hour repeating it in my head.
I knew that if anyone spoke to me the tune would be gone for another 40 years! All I knew was that it was a coda to a larger piece...then it came to me! :D

"Nobody Told Me" - that's a great tune! Leonard Cohen is far more depressing;: "I ache in the places where I used to play" was looping in my head on yesterday's ride to Brighton :)

Four songs which were part of my wedding:
I'm In The Mood For Love, played in the church by our band as (the not quite yet) Mrs EKE and her dad walk down the aisle.
Untold Stories by Buju Banton, sung by the congregation and our band in the church. I don't do hymns.
Wonderwall by Oasis as we entered the reception hall after the service and pictures.
Good Thing Going by Sugar Minott as our first dance.

I can't wait to see the video of Untold Stories.
FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
    FCN 4: Planet X Schmaffenschmack 2- workhorse
