Got to pick the bugger up, just not been finishing in time to get there and it looks like I am working saturday as well...

If I am free I am gonna be coming down, I will be wanting to test out my nw CAAD9 properly or may just bring my lovely fixed gear... choices choices :P
whats the hill for the climb? that could sway my vote a little :P
I managed a lap in 25 mins on a SS with knackered freewheel running 44/16. Bringing ther other bike to London this year.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Did the A4 today, albeit in a big white coach with National Express on the side, and the Broadway Shop area doesn't seem that bad. NX coaches now stop at Hammersmith by the tube station so I could follow the route pretty much to the roundabout where the A319 splits from the A4.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

CAAD9? What's the ride like?
simply AMAZING, super smooth I was expecting a little harsh but its smooth, feels really stable. Saddle is really good as well. Nothing on it needs changing or altering although I do want to change the whole groupset to force - not sure when tho, was thinking next week but i may leave it a little while first... will decide on monday :PFCN: 5/6 Fixed Gear (quite rapid) in normal clothes and clips

Cool . I've read more than one report saying that it's a good crit bike because it's stiff and responsive.FCN 2-4.

Wasn't it the CAAD9 that got the rave reviews in C+, with one model coming in under the magical C2W price? Sure it was one of the models I had my eye on as a possible "purchase" if my employer signs up for the scheme!
Sure GregT mentioned he'd got one.......0 -
yep thats the one I nabbed, they are very rare now, theres not many left, I asked and I got one of the last 2 in the 54 frame....
the tiagra groupset is good enough, although I am looking to go to force at some point
most planted bike I have ridden, did want to pull away from me as i was riding it tho put the power down and it leaps forwardFCN: 5/6 Fixed Gear (quite rapid) in normal clothes and clips

Sounds very good! I'm dying to get on a decent bike as I'm already reasonably fast on the Giant and I was impressed with how that accelerated when I first got on it so to get something better would be excellent........one day :-)0 -
bicycle in richmond are the only people with them left they have a couple of sizes from what I saw there today, they said whats there is all that they have left - i dont think they are going to be getting any more, Evans said possibly november for new stock!FCN: 5/6 Fixed Gear (quite rapid) in normal clothes and clips

how did it end that early... surely there was more serious propping up of the bar than that?Le Cannon [98 Cannondale M400] [FCN: 8]

So how many laps are you intending on doing? its important to establish this number so you can calculate how many pints of beer need to be consumed afterwards to remain calorie neutral.0

Some...
I had an horrendous hangover last year, so didn't want to do any, but did one off-road and one on-road.
I think some did 3 or 4 on-road, but I was in the pub by then!0 -
Will Brun be attempting to retain his Nightingale Lane title?0

Yep it's done, route planned 70 miles easy downhill the whole way and if I leave early enough I should miss the worst of the traffic. 8)Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
