Good job I have 2 then

Though the amount of 'reviews' i have seen on CRC saying what a con it is 'they make you buy a saddle as well AVOID' is quite ridiculous...

Why the HELL have you done that?

Everyone knows that dropper posts are far too expensive, heavy, unreliable, and have enough play to make Nelson himself seasick. They are also useless because you have to stop at the top of each climb while everyone else drops their posts too.
The correct thing to do would be to just use a QR clamp.

Nope droppers are awesome, as theres no stopping when the terrain gets that bit downhill unexpectedly, as long as you have a remote, you will be king of the world. In fact a dropper seatpost is the sole reason that I, a 31 year old on a lead bike, was almostish able to keep up with two yound whippersnappers on carbon steeds, despite my lack of and type of skill or fitness.

Dropper seatposts are like ribbed condoms, they cost a bit more but they dont half help to hide your deficiencies as a man

    Ultremo R1's in black/blue
    Planet x polished bars/stem/seatpost
    Fizik honey brown tape
    Pro saddle in honey brown
    Carbon fork expander

The planet x will look almost the same as my Raleigh road bike from 1983 but a bit faster.

Can't post it in the road forums as there's no mention of Rapha or DuraAce.

Plus so that the Inbred doesn't feel left out a set of NN and Ro/Ro in Evo flavour and some more KCNC foam grips.

A 12-36 Shimano cassette which I'm going to convert into an 11-36, for the 1x9 rigid, on the grounds that it almost made my legs drop off at the glentress 7
And some of the last size 9 Shimano AM40 shoes for sale, because the new ones are so bloomin hideous.

Also the missing bolts off my C456 arrived so I can build it tomorrow, cheers On One!

Out of interest, how long were you waiting for your 456 bolts? I've phoned them 4 times over the last few weeks and they kept fobbing me off until i spoke to a decent lad yesterday who admitted they'd been out of stock and he'd send me some. The wife just texted saying they've arrived. FINALLY.

Time to mock up the 456 on saturday night, i'm so friggin excited.

I got the frame on the 2nd but didn't fiind out about the bolts til about the 5th or 6th, first person promised to send out the bolts that day, phoned again a week later and got the correct answer. I got the feeling it was a bit of cluelessness rather than being fobbed off, but they never got back to me to tell me they didn't have any.

    Still, I'll forgive 'em.

I will forgive them if it doesn't fall break (the frame) on the first ride! Some of the calls were definitely clueless, but first guy definitely fobbed me off. Ah well. All is good now.

I'm watching ebay just now, I only ordered the C456 because there were no used Ragley Tis to be found... Guess what appeared the second I put the stickers on the 456  So it bloody better go expensive!

I like the tupperware On One though, it's cool looking. Also if you whack it, it sounds like a rotten log, so I'm looking forward to finding out what it sounds like when I whack it into a rotten log.

£275 remap and you've got 205bhp. You know it makes sense.

Well, On-One are nice and clever it seems. 4 phone calls to get these bolts sent. I arrive home, eagerly open the package and the 'tards have sent me 1. Yes 1 bolt, not 4, but 1. So I can fasten half a drop out on now! Why the hell would I want 1? I have told all the people i've spoken to that I need a set of bolts, and they sent me 1. Yes 1! I can't believe how dense they're being about it.

So now I can't start building it until Tuesday at the earliest. I am close to returning the frame as it's really frustrating me how bad they are, and it's not confidence inspiring when you may have warranty claims etc. No doubt they'll replace my bike frame with half a climbing frame of something. :(

What size 456 you get? Is it a paint seconds one?
