That's just fantastic isn't it. I'm laughing with you not at you, honest!

Mine is a medium, I went for the £400 combi pack as I wanted the Fleegle bars for my commuter, shame they sold out of Hope headsets though so I ended up with a Smoothie. Got it taped and stickered up, ****ed up one of hte logo stickers though so I guess I'll be buying some more, doh. Should get it built tomorrow.

PS, Ragley MMMbop for sale

    SCORE!

Just bagged an entry to the IOM End2End in Sept off a mate whose missus just decided she's not up to it.

Weather better start improving now so I can start putting in the miles.

Got links to the mmmbop? This carbon 456 is a pain in the ass...it might be going back! Lol. Well, probably not but the whole thing is frustrating me.

Oh yeah. And I'm 6'3...I doubt your mmmbop would fit me anyway :(

Still cleaning up the frame, I'll stick it in For Sale... I think Brant would recommend you a Large and this is an M.

Yeah I was thinking I'd need a large. I got an 18" 456. I prefer a smaller frame, but medium might just be too small. Still want to see pics though as its always good to see it.

just ordered a KS i7 from singletrack classifieds.

had been trying to converse through emails with a german website to buy an xfusion hilo but their flipping webbosite wouldnt let me use paypal.

turns out to be good fortune as after a couple of weeks of waiting and checking ebay, singltrack and here, a droppy post becomes available as i am having trouble buying one from a shop.

gonna need to by a remote for the old girl though of course. lever posts are useless (ish)

Leisure lakes were knocking the remotes out at £48.50 in any of the 6 colours they do. If the i7 is as good as the i950 (which it should be) you wont be disappointed

fingers crossed it will be good, ive not heard anything about the xfusion hilo but was prepared to give it a go as it was the cheapest 27.2 version i could find.

im happier to try a KS one i gather they are reliable enough.

i will give LL a look for the remote, cheers for the tip.

40 Stainless Steel M4 X 10mm bolts for my Nano Thru Pins
    Some Loctite 242

I'm going to have awesome grip when I get back on the bike again as I'll have gripper shoes by far with my AM41s and 2mm longer pins that won't fall out as they've been loctited in. Result

I've just got some Oakley Automatic Gloves in Sulphur colour in the CRC private sale. I was going to be the blue ones but the white on them is impractical. They look pretty awesome and a good price, reviews say that they're meant to be good too so I'm looking forward to them arriving. You can never have too many sets of riding gloves anyway :P

remote kit for the ks i7 as adjustable posts are pointless without a remote.

got a black one so i can choose to stealth the bike up a bit or leave the existing red collar on there for some colour.

i know, its only taken me three weeks to click the order button  gotta give it a service when i convert it, ts gone abit sloppy and it doesnt return to full height, im currently missing half an inch of drop from it :(

good lord, you guys are gonna tear that apart

thats quite alright old bean. piece of p1ss to fit too, it kind of guides you to take the bottom plate off the post bit with a pin spanner, but I found there was no need to remove it. Only problem with mine I find is me, because my motor skills are retarded, I keep going to change gear instead of dropping the post or vice versa

Oh and lawman, I'll tear you apart in a minute ;)

sheeps, did you convert you old joplin or buy it with remote installed?? no idea how to go about changing it

you havent got a good tearing apart in you gaz

If I remember rightly its just held in by the seatclamp pressure screwed down and maybe a grub screw, when its taken apart though it just comes right out, nice and easy, then the shorted arm for the remove goes in the opposite side instead.

To change the collar all I did was unscrew, pull out the inner seat tube take out the locating lugs on the tube wwith a small screwdriver or tweezers, they just pop right off, change the collars over, pop the lugs back on, relubricate and then pop back in and tighten the collar, you can supposedly change the rebound speed by virtue of how much you have the post extended when you tighten the collar, but it made very little difference really when i did it

converted the old one, came as a lever post but supplied with the remote kit.

swapping it is easy, you need to use the drift that came with the remote kit and a hammer to knock the pin out which holds the lever in place, then hammer a new pin in to hold the remote lever thingy cable attachment clamp. simples.
