you havent got a good tearing apart in you gaz
converted the old one, came as a lever post but supplied with the remote kit.
swapping it is easy, you need to use the drift that came with the remote kit and a hammer to knock the pin out which holds the lever in place, then hammer a new pin in to hold the remote lever thingy cable attachment clamp. simples.
sounds easy enough excellent!!0 -
sheepsteeth wrote:how would one remove the lever? does it need drifting out like the joplin?
needs an allen key, just had a look.0 -
Islabike Cnoc 16 for my son's 4th birthday next week. First "big boy " bike.
I think I'm more excited about it than he'll ever be!You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -

i bought one a few weeks ago for my commuting bike. its just about bright enough for riding on unlit country roads at night. i wouldn't fancy mountain biking with it, but if you say its just as a back up then it will do the job fine.My Nukeproof Mega

No way this has a Cree 5w LED but pretty damn bright for a cheapo back up with quite a good spread definitely good for road use and on trails you know.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0 -

I don't even know what parts I've just ordered for my car. I know new brake calipers are on the list. The total will be about £730! I got rid of my old car because it's MOT would have cost me £1200, but it was 5 years older!
I am SO pi$$ed off right now it's untrueIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
