sheeps, did you convert you old joplin or buy it with remote installed?? no idea how to go about changing it

you havent got a good tearing apart in you gaz

converted the old one, came as a lever post but supplied with the remote kit.

swapping it is easy, you need to use the drift that came with the remote kit and a hammer to knock the pin out which holds the lever in place, then hammer a new pin in to hold the remote lever thingy cable attachment clamp. simples.

    sounds easy enough :D excellent!!

Islabike Cnoc 16 for my son's 4th birthday next week. First "big boy " bike.

I think I'm more excited about it than he'll ever be!
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Wellgo v8 copys (gutted the v12s in black are out of stock at CRC until October. Might sell the v8s then and get v12s for the sealed bearings)
    Brunox Oil
Rock n Roll Gold lube (chain is looking a bit worse for wear after 3 days in Scotland :p)
Nobby Nic Evo 2.25 to replace my rear Speed King. Might try it on the front as there's still a lot of tread left in the front Speed King.
  • 1200lumen magicshine light. actually i ordered it 10 days ago but forgot to put it in here. only remembered about it when the postman dropped it off this morning.

Two sets of Bolle Spider glasses, one with the Flash lens and one with the clear one (both to replace lost pairs of glasses  ).
A Camelbak The Don since my current backpack is waaaaay too small.
An SDG I-Fly saddle with I-Beam seatpost for the 224, current seat just gets in the way to much and my current seatpost has a crack in it.

i bought one a few weeks ago for my commuting bike. its just about bright enough for riding on unlit country roads at night. i wouldn't fancy mountain biking with it, but if you say its just as a back up then it will do the job fine.

Had a test ride on a Spesh Camber with a Henge saddle - a bit too firm for my liking.

I'll see how it goes, I'm running a Fizik Gobi atm. The Gobi is better than the standard saddle ane the charge spoon I had but definitely not perfect.

Just ordered another Schwalbe Inner Tube as I damaged one of my current ones near the valve today so it's impossible to repair.

No way this has a Cree 5w LED but pretty damn bright for a cheapo back up with quite a good spread definitely good for road use and on trails you know.

I don't even know what parts I've just ordered for my car. I know new brake calipers are on the list. The total will be about £730! I got rid of my old car because it's MOT would have cost me £1200, but it was 5 years older!

I am SO pi$$ed off right now it's untrue
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
