Is it the matte black? Nicolais look brilliant in matte.. Suits the industrial look of the construction (Oh OK, looks a bit like a barbeque, but a very well made one!)

Just ordered a 10mm bolt-through conversion for my "new" rear wheel, as it turned out it came with a maxle fitment not 10mm. But the seller was spot on and refunded the cost of the 10mm kit. Ebay- not as devoid of good people as you may have heard.

Oh Pete- attempt one is not very succesful, the rivets are falling out. Ordered some longer ones.

I was thinking of getting an old innertube, get some self tapping screws, screw in from back of carcass the glue innertube over the top of them to stop them puncturing the tube.

Of course if your doing it tubeless, you may not need the spare tube

Yeah, that's the classic way, I'm just making it awkward  If rivets mk 2 fails I'll try screws, and by that time, it'll be spring!

Yes it is the Anodised (matte) black one, white decals. I wanted a different ano colour but I couldn't justify an extra £400

You can have most of the single colours included in the price of the frame but the paint weighs an extra 300 to 400 grammes
  • And I've ordered another Monkeylight XC bar and a FSA low stack stem.

Today I have ordered another 2.35 stick-e Nevegal, having cleverly destroyed one by dropping my massive crowbar on it while splitting pallets. I've been trying to find a used one for ages, turns out they're only £25 new  My favouritest tyre evars.

Ah well, however inadvertantly, you have bought the best colour
