    Endura baabaa merino jersey

    25981.jpg
    Endura Convert II jacket

    3071.jpg
    Endura Humvee 3/4 shorts w/liner.

Not that I'm a brand whore or anything  All pretty comfy, it's my first experience with Endura kit, and so far, so good :)

A new chain is next, I've noticed the grit/snow gunk on the roads has been slowly eating away at my chain after I gave the bike a strip down/degrease/regrease/clean at the weekend.

    Now, KMC or SRAM?

    KMC.

    Thats what I was thinking..

    CHKMX9L-GOL_P1.jpg

Is there any major difference over the gold (ti-nitride) and the nickel plated ones, except for bling factor? Is the ti-nitride a lot more durable? (i know it's the wrong section to ask this, but I cba to start a new thread just for a chain).

Oh, and weight isn't an issue, it's for an 06 Spesh Enduro

Stav: No, the gold rubs off anyway. When it's new it looks good, but I wouldn't pay the extra for it again.

  • Two tubeless conversion kits, as both bikes got punctures on Sunday thanks to the farmer cutting back the hedge on one of the bridleways and found it's not much fun replacing a tube when its cold, dark and the wheel is covered in mud.

    Cheers Bails, appreciated :)

The enduro isn't a looker to be honest, so that wouldn't bother me. Nickel it is.

Race face ride DH sigle chainset, now I just have to decide what type of chain retention device to go with it.

Good choice on the forks. :P

Also good choice on the rims, but everyone knows you should use DT hubs with upgraded star ratchet, not those stupid ProII.

3 sets of Superstar grips (one set, red with white lockrings, for myself then 2 sets, orange and black, for a mates christmas, no, not you Northwind  )

A red Mucky Nutz Bender Fender for the 224. Was cheaper than another Neogaurd so I thought I would give it a try.

Some El Garro Barrio pedals for the 224. No idea what they are like but they were 15 quid so worth a shot

4 sets of Superstar Sintered pads for the Oro's. Yes, some of these ARE for you Northwind
  • Ice Spiker Pros from Action Sports DE after Wiggle's promise of mid-Dec was a myth. 7 quid cheaper even with delivery costs. Colleague got his really quick too.
