  • Sky continuing their campaign to be the least popular team in the Peloton by ramping it up as Hushovd and Breschel off the back with mechanicals.

Great race so far. Looks like this year the favourites will actually race all the way to the finish.

Armstrong... what could have been in the classics, eh?

Did Boonen and Cancellara just go off the front? I've just started watching online and I don't speak flemish...
  • Wow, big attack there, Booned looks to be struggling to keep in touch there. But surely too far from the finish?

Yup - and Chinny looking far more comfortable.

Boonen gets very untidy on the bike when he's on the rivet.

    Yep.
  • Armstrong has impressed me today, and I don't often say that.

Scary amounts of power put down by Tommeke and The Chin

This is the normal course of a few years ago with the Molenberg in later and I wonder why the Valkenberg has been missed out this year and also that newish Eikenmolen.

That's better the Molenberg plays a proper part in the race today.

    Newbie here

Normally just watch the TDF, first year watching the classics.

Can someone tell me all I need to know about Flanders and who I should be watching out for.

Watching it on the Steephill link posted above. Ta.

  • The Valkenberg has a cracking descent off it though.
  • Millar moving up too.

Cancellara and Tommeke are opening the gap. 25 seconds... would be epic if they stayed out all the way.

Starting to rain? Looks a bit damp out there.
  • Big group comming up from behind, maybe someone will work and close them move down from there. But it would be epic if they did stay away
