With Eurosport about to start, the situation is that there is a group of eight, 13 minutes in the lead

:Nicolas Rousseau (AG2R), Vicente Garcia Acosta (Caisse d'Epargne), Michele Merlo (Footon-Servetto), Oliver Bonnaire (Francaise des Jeux), Michael Ignatiev (Katusha), David Boucher (Landbouwkrediet) Floris Goesinen (Skil-Shimano), and Joost van Leijen (Vacansoleil)

Hopefully my Transitions will darken when Pozzato's naked body flashes across the screen and I won't be traumatized like I was a a couple of weeks ago...

It's too slow which is the reason for the crashes.

that's quite an elite group at the front now

    thor
    Chinney
    Breschel
    Gorgeous George
    Flecha

  • Only one Quick Step in that group

This course change looks like it'll be decisive. Koppenberg next so it'll be hard for the chasers to get back on.

as does Boonen. So do Saxo ride for Breschel rather than Cancellara?

  • I think this is going to come down to a shoot out on the Kapelmuur
  • Is that Lief Hoste on the front for Lotto?

This is the normal course of a few years ago with the Molenberg in later and I wonder why the Valkenberg has been missed out this year and also that newish Eikenmolen.

I'm happy now the race is in full flow.
Eddy Van Hoydonck would never have let the early stages get that slow.
