    Many different kinds of police, good, bad, incompetent.

    A thief has stolen your bike. The same thief who most likely is the bain of societies life. He most likely is a drug addict, stealing to fund his habit. He claims all sorts of benefits, most probably that he is not legitimately entitled to, at the taxpayers expense. We pay for his methadone he uses to boost his smack addiction with. He lives in a house we pay for and likely causes problems for his neighbours with his lifestyle. If the police catch him they will at best get your prized possesion back (not in this case) and it may well be damaged. Tuff. He will get another mark on his record and he will not care. If he is fined he will not pay and continue to offend.

    If you were to find this chap, take back your bike and give him a good kicking for a bit of community justice you will be prosecuted and charged. You may well go to prison. You would loose your job. In turn you will loose your house as you no longer are able to pay your mortgage. Your wife would leave you and you will see your son on weekends. You will end up penniless on the street with a criminal record unable to dig yourself out of a hole.......
