hi caz if you do manage to coax your hubby into taking you, let me know what day/time as i've been meaning to get back up there to have a go at the top half.
The man in the red jacket in the Gisburn vid is my mate who got killed
also would love to have another attempt at the rock drop in the second vid at the 7:50 mark0 -

I bet you can't fix yours to the bike with a stem/bar mount..........'' one to us.....
Our garmins have the cycle routes on as well.........''
And they are waterproof........heh heh !! two to us.......
you can fix them to a bar with a mount, you sent me a link for one
you can download cycle routes and maps for freee
and you can buy a boxit (if your theres one to fit your mobile) that provides a waterproof case and a bike mount
Boxit 5.0 small lid takes a Nokia N96 so there.

Gisburn is near to Clitheroe , well Slainburn/Tosside really, its well worth putting on the list of places for us all to go, I am supposed to be going to look at a campside in Tosside to see about a weekend there if it would be what anyone would fancy.
If not it's easly enouhg for a day play

Mick,
It'll not be til after the 10th April before I get back there as I've got a chest cold that I'm trying to shift for Llandegla, but I will be sometime in April when I do get back there

i done the red run with a couple of black sections and it was fantastic, just a few climbs that really took it out of me
dont forget to visit the cafe for your food, superb
have a great day and hopefully i will be able to come along but i am spare at work that weekend so it will be a late decision
any more info, just drop us a line0 -
to Cheshley
i did have a specialized rockhopper comp disc before getting the trek had some fun with it but decided that a full suss would be more fun
to sparrowlegs78
I'd be intrested in the weekend up at Gisburn if there's some intrest in it. It had been in the back of my mind about staying near to it for the weekend better than 1 1/2 hour drive to reach it0 -

Secure bike storage within the barn itself. fitted kitchen and utensils etc
If any of you are interested lets sort out a weekend so i can book it as soon as poss.

I can't do anything from the 10th May when Richie is going in for his op, depends on how much he will actually sit at home and relax as to when I can play out again, the silly bugger wants t go back in wore a week after his op, I can see him bursting his stitches and being sidelined for a while if he won't behave lol
Caz xx0 -
Hi Caz...... i take it that either april 30th or may 7th is ok for you????2001 Cove Stiffee FR

I'd be intrested, but can only do the 4th June as the other dates' i'm working, i'm on a strange 3 week rota so only get a full weekend off once every three weeks.
It's like the meeting at Llandegla on the 10th off that sat but back in the sunday 6am0 -
Fortunately for me i don't work weekends at all so i'm ok any of those dates and don't mind going twice so if want you could pencil in 4th june for yourself as i will go deffo.......2001 Cove Stiffee FR

It's on it's way hun, bloody customs have got it I think, ours took a couple of weeks to arrive, If it's not arrived by Friday I'll give the bloke a prod to make sure he did send it.
We are waiting for about 4 things from Hong Kong, they are slooooooooow
Caz xx0 -
I think customs could do with a bloody prod with a flamin hot poker.....''

I know, it's summat we have to suffer for cheap goodies
Richie has got a lens for his cam coming from Honkers, it costs £80 from there inc p+p instead of the £130 from anywhere else

Dragging back to topic for a min,
Would anyone fancy a day playing silly buggers at Lee Quarry and the area?.
It's techy stuff so its a play all day thing up there really.
Just thought I'd add it as a possible play date to the list
Caz xx0 -
I think Lee Quarry would tickle Roo
