The invalid is fine, healing really well, he's got a dent in his belly now, big enough to put a whole egg in ! lol....he's dying to get back on the bike though.

i just keep searching the interweb for tyres
ive put the eskars back on the list. as there nice and big
trying to think which tyres would be best for the peaks on tuesday as well, need something big, grippy, robust and will go tublesswhat are brakes for again0 -

I used SRAM on Richies bike when I fitted a chain on that, alas mine is still fitted with its original shimano one

I stick with Panaracer, only had to change the brand coz I wore out the sticky soft cinders riding on the roads :oops: ...now I just use Richies bike on the road and wear his tyres out instead lol

Forget carbon seatposts mate, more trouble than they're worth and SOOOOOOOOO easily damaged. For seatposts there is only one option, Thompson Elite. I have one on the Road bike and when it needs a new one (or I find myself with £70 quid I don't need) the Spesh will have one as well.1998 Marin Hawk Hill

No such thing mate, tyres for gravel, tyres for hardpack, tyres for mud, tyres for downhill, tyres for uphill........
