Cannondale Synapse Carbon Disc 105, 2020, seems very good condition

In fact I was looking for a new road bike to keep at my Mum's place for when I visit. This one is even near where I live.

Ridiculous I've got some serious deals. Ultegra r8000 pedals never used for £40. Garmin instinct hardly used for £105. Ls perfetto for my wife used twice for £35. It's almost starting to annoy me in fact! Castelli stuff with tags for buttons. I'll be hard pushed to shop elsewhere tbh. Good for selling to

Occasionally. There was a dura ace BB for 15 or 20 not long ago. Nearly bought as a spare. I keep an eye out if I need bits.

I was after a new chain. Looked on the usual sites and there wasn’t a lot of availability. So googled Shimano Ultegra 11 speed chain and a fair few came up on eBay but ranging from £11:95 to 14:95😳 I wasn’t sure whether this was a scam because although it gave the number of links it seemed very cheap and it also seemed over emphasise quick link.Ordered one thinking I might just get a link.

Turned up today came in Shimano box with all the instructions etc. Appears to be the genuine article and it was free postage and came in 3 days.

My bro who lives in Italy, and is riding to Spain in May to visit our parents, is looking for some new bib shorts.

As I have not bought any new ones in ages, or really been looking at bargains, I'm somewhat out of the loop, so just wondered if anyone had seen any stunning bargains.

Thinking where he is based European sites might be good places to look, lordgun, alpine trek, mantel etc, but just wondered if any mega deals had been spotted by you eagle eyed lot.

Size wise, preferably small, medium might work as well.

    Thankyou 😊

Sportful are generally thought of as the budget price but fairly equal to Castelli.

Unfortunately this is the wrong time of year to be looking for shorts deals.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Yes a fair point, he should have thought about it in the depths of winter and not 2 weeks before departing 😐️

Thanks will take a look - trouble is now he'll have extra import and admin charges to pay 🤬

I've advised him of a few shops that server the EU, and also suggested Siroko, pretty sure someone on here rated them, maybe @itboffin but I may be wrong.

Does the box have " shimano" printed on it in white lettering. Most cheap Ebay chains are in copy boxes without the brand name.

They looked to be genuine boxes and the chains have Shimano stamped on them. I ordered and have received a couple more.

I bought a bargain Shimano chain via eBay last year. Popped a link almost every time I rode it. Cheap fake.

    Hope yours is ok.

90 days free premium Strava https://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/get-a-90-day-free-trial-of-strava-premium-using-discount-code-4341968

It will setup auto renew to pay for premium after 90 days, but you can cancel straight away and keep the trial.

Apparently extends existing premium member subs, can't confirm that, I gave up premium last year.

Paid a little bit more for my shimano chain rather than risk ebay, could well be fine though.

Not bought anything indulgent in a while, but starting to get back out on the bike, I have been out in an oldish pair of Castelli omloop shorts, with the Progetto X2 pad I like so much.

Wolf cycles (No I'd never heard of them either) have the endurance short on sale for £84-£90 so have ordered a pair, quite a deal at this time of year I thought.

    https://www.wolfcycles.co.uk/product/castelli-endurance-3-bib-shorts/

Question - Does anyone have experience, or is able to provide a comparison on the Premio black bib short?

A number of places have it on offer for half price, and in all likelihood it looks like a fantastic short - SOME people seem to be of the opinion that is sizes up smaller than other Castelli shorts, though their own size guide disputes this.

Any real world experience greatly appreciated :-)

Good fan that, quite a narrow funnel of air is all I would say, so you get the best results if it's around 6+ ft away.

The remote with different speeds is a real boon.

Just bought a new road helmet from https://www.bikeloungeonline.com/collections/rudy-project-egos

Arrived today (ordered Tuesday) and, having just been around some LBSs trying on helmets without finding the Goldilocks one, I took a punt on this. I have to say it's very, very premium in feel, easy to get comfortable (for reference, 62cm head, size large; I fit Giro and Bell Ok, a bit hmmm Specialized, no way Kask) and, at the price they are above, very good value.

The Cleva remote fan is currently discounted to £79.99 from £100 (Potentially this was already the price when @Webboo2 posted last week), and if you sign up for the news letter you get 10% off on top - or perhaps the CLEVACLOGS code 3 posts above will still work.

    £72 is a proper bargain.

Well this thread has been quiet - not sure how much of a bargain this is, but H Samuel have the Garmin Epix Gen 2 (Just about to be replaced) on offer for £325.

If you buy vouchers through TCB you can get £15 immediate cashback, and then you also get cashback for the purchase itself - mine appears to have tracked too high, so may well correct, but in theory I'm currently looking to pay under £300 for it.

This is a present for my partner on our anniversary. I've also bought screen protectors, a silicone case, and replacement fabric velcro straps which I have found MUCH more comfy, and easy to wash as well.
