The 20% off three items also applies in store apparently. Not sure if they'll allow the 10% BC as well but I can't see why not.

Are the Sidis's worth £108? Reviews seem to say they're a bit heavy.

I'm not sure. I also hear the insoles are worse than cardboard.

I have Giro Factors and Shimano R088 but all i want are the ultraviolet empires but they're spenny

    Ok, thanks, I'll leave them.

Any other bargain item? Suppose a pair of socks will get me the 20% off.

Anyone want the Bonka? Bit big for me so it will otherwise go back. £350 RRP!

    What colours is it LC?

    Is it the bonkacento6?

And if you don't mind me asking, what weight and chest size are you?

Not spotted any great deals, but I'm still looking.

If you click & collect, it might be possible to get an extra 10% off with BC...

I should have looked and thought about this one-off daily deal more yesterday, I pondered buying the Boardman MTB trousers, that have zipped lower legs and a decent pair of padded shorts. £40 in deal price, £36 with BC discount.

I don't know much about Assos but it's the Mille which I gather is the more "relaxed" version. It's black and I'm very very small at around 50kg. Not sure about chest size but must be less than 36''. Probably suffocate most people....

Thanks LC, I will pass in that case, but hope someone else is able to take you up on your kind offer.

That must be some power to weight ratio you have there, surmising you are a hill climber extraordinaire!?

Which bit put you off? Sorry it was such a rushed reply this morning. Let me know if I there's anything else you want to know.

At that price though, I'm sure you could pass it on to someone else on here.

On my power to weight, I've got the legs of a small girl and the lungs of a pensioner....

To be fair, probably both :D

I read some reviews of the race fit version, and he said he was 64kg, and squeezed into an XS - I have been that light, but am currently sat at about 68 (Some 30% heavier that you  ) so if it was going to fit, it would have to have been the race fit version.
Not a huge fan of black either, unless it has been teamed up with yellow of course ;-) Though the blue would have been ok.

Your other option is to hang onto it until the Autumn and then sell it then for a modest profit, can't see how you could lose on that.

The Mille is, more or less, a size down on the Cento. But perhaps with slightly more give.

FWIW, I'm an XL Cento and L Mille (Bonka).

That said, I don't think I've met many people who would need an XS Bonka!

Bender. Good timing you've come along as I was going to quiz you.

I've got an Assos iJ.intermediate S7 Long Sleeve Jacket (in XSmall) which I haven't got round to using yet. Do I need the Assos iJ.tiBuru.4 Insulator Jacket as well? How much do they overlap?

I've also got one of these I've been waiting to break out for winter duties (since 2014....):

    http://road.cc/content/review/96454-spo ... -ws-jacket

Have I got too many clothes I'll never wear? Too much overlap there?

Doesn't anyone else find that clothes just don't wear out however much you want to "upgrade" or however many "bargains" you spot. In the 10 years I've been wearing my current winter jacket I've got through a dozen bikes.....

The S7 is for spring days, even summer ones most of the time. You can even get it working, with a base etc, in mid 0-10 degrees. It's versatile and, IMO, one of cycling's greatest hits. The Tiburu is a really warm jersey. Good for down to 0 with a gilet, good for mid 0-10 too, with a base, but less good when the temps rise above 13-15 degrees or so, when it becomes a bit warm. You can lose the base layer though. So, there is an overlap. It's good having both, arguably. But I'd always pick the Intermediate over the Tiburu for all year round use. But, if you can get a cheap Tiburu it's a bargain.

Sorry as this is drifting and should really be in Road Buying Advice but how would you rate the Tiburu compared to the Rapha Pro Team Training jacket?

Warmer in the sun, colder in the cold :D It's not windproof. But on cool days with no wind other than what you make, very comfortable. And far more breathable, of course.

That is provided you get the right staff member who will honour bc, as believe it's supposed to be excluded. Great price if you get it though! Think i paid 620 when released which was a great saving.

20% off Ebay goods today, up to to £75 discount, includes sports.

Edit: Crossed my mind that this would beat the BC discount in Halfords stores, by using their Ebay store. Makes the Voodoo Marasa ~£256, or the Boardman Hybrid Pro £675, for example.

Evans have got loads of Winter/Autumn clothing on sale at the moment. Castelli stuff at 40% off and similar across the brands.

Not too much on the website but the stores have more. The Canary Wharf one has quite a bit of stuff.

Bit gutted about this one personally, because BC discount is supposed to only apply to London CR stores https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/membe ... Republic-0 , but ~£307 is a good deal for those of you who can get to a store in the capital.

    Cycliq fly6 + fly12 cameras

I think I'm going to take the plunge, solely for any post-incident needs. Using BC discount at CRC I can get both for £202.49
    6 rear - £89.99
    12 front - £135
    total £224.99
    less 10% £22.50
    £202.49

Anyone spotted a cheaper way of doing it or sense future bargains?

I was thinking about warranty etc. from ebay chumps vs CRC... the 12 was cheapest on ebay from sigma anyway and the 6 seller seems legit.

They're not far off being the same either. Very very good bikes. I wanted the 24" Vitus but that hasn't come back to Wiggle yet. The 20" version is great. But the Hoy is better (at 24) because it has Alex Rims. Very happy!
