I'm quite tempted, could do with a couple of jerseys. Anyone know what the quality/sizing is like?

Sizing is standard, quality is fine.

I have a couple of QS jerseys and they're fine.

Hardly a rapha top, but then, it's a 3rd of the price.

Define 'standard' for bike kit sizing! Castelli/Santini is a fair bit different from Pearl Izumi/Craft f'example. At 6'/82kgs/40" chest I need an XL in most Castelli/Santini jerseys, L in Rapha/Assos and M in Craft.

*shrugs* Seems pretty similar to rapha.

They're Belgian, not Italian ;), so they class people like me in the 'small' catagory :P.

Whereas in Britain they use numbers, like Age 8-10 ;)

Thanks - almost what I want; can anyone post here if they see some good S/S jerseys up to £25? Had worn T- & polo shirts last summer, but after L/S jerseys in the last few months, I'd now like the benefit of rear pockets without the need for deep pockets.

http://www.probikekit.com/uk/clothing/c ... rder=price - can't go wrong with that elf one? ;) Seriously tho, the Craft jerseys look a bargain.

Alas, elf one sold out and all the Craft are in Chasey-size. Keep 'em peeled, please!

Have you tried Royles.biz, Evans and or Cycle Surgery - they often have some proper bargains on there, though sizing available can be random at times.

Needed some new bottles, so this is ideal!

Good call! I needed a couple of new bottles so I bought 4!

That way when I run out of water I can pretend I'm a pro cyclist and chuck my empty bottle at some poor sod waiting at the bus stop. He'll probably want to keep it as a souvenir.

Took a punt on this Mavic Inferno winter jacket (if it's no good for cycling, it might work at gimp parties):

    £81 from Evans:

Nice jacket, shame the hood is not removable.

I wasn't sure about that - the Mavic site said it was removable, but an online review said it was non-detachable. If it is fixed in place, I'll see if it will work as a neck warmer when not in full balaclava mode. If it gets on my tits, I'll attack it with a pair of a dress-making scissors and use the balaclava for stalking duties only.

Wiggle big reduction sale (yet again) - took a punt on some Lake CX330C shoes (25% off) in my quest to find a cycling shoe that fits (on the recommendation of the Bike Whisperer) - they do, at least, do half sizes would hopefully will increase my chances of a better fit.

Was just about to pull the trigger on the Leopard Trek Luxembourg champs jersey on Prendas for £29.95, until I noticed it's got Frank written on the back.

Kinda put me off for some reason...

Hah, I bought one then noticed this afterwards. It's going back! Not cos of this, rather only cos it's a bit too big for me. Nice jersey. In fact, if you want a brand new large one (fits like a normal UK large, 41-42" chest) for £27.50 collected let me know, save me posting it back.

Thought the Omega Pharma Lotto kit was great, tempted to go for the full shorts and jersey combo but know I would always compare unfavourably to Gilbert!

If you use MTB pedals and are size 44.5:

I bought the last pair of 43s they had.

BTW, those High Five bottles at Probikekit are pretty horrible, with hard plastic nozzles.
