What to do, what to do?
So I got the £50 off le Col voucher from strava, but damn, those things are expensive! And nothing useful & big seems to be on sale. Ideally, I'd like another pair of bib tights, but are their Pro bibtights worth £50 pounds over the Castelli Sorpassos? Why would I want their thermal jersey? Isn't it too similar to the Gabba or Perfetto I already have? It seems to be the same Windtex material. Admittedly, the red version looks nice, and would complement my ceramic blue Perfetto. Any recomendation? Are dear s/s jerseys worth it?0 -

FWIW my LBS is a Lecol Dealer and the clothing is really nice IMO. I have the Therma jersey and you're right it is basically a Gabba. I have the Therma jersey SS for best and a Perfetto convertible jacket for commuting in.
The jerseys are really nice but I agree maybe a little overpriced.
The HC Bibs are lovely and they are my favourite but don't know the Sorpassos's to compare them against.FCN 7

The new version is smaller and lighter - but battery life is down to 8 hours from 10 (no big deal when you think about it)
The the CE does ANT and 4K and has image stabilisation.
IMO though the fly12 isn't for making movies - its for recording incidents - with that in mind I don't think the CE version is worth the extra £100 (YMMV)0 -

That's exactly what it's for, and it does a fine job of that. Mine is mounted on one of the dual mounts, and so takes up no room on the bars. The app is a bit clunky, but it's easy enough to find the incident and lift the footage off the unit and on to your phone.
My only issue is not having full length front mudguard, so the lens gets filthy in the rain and I have to remember to wipe it. That's my problem though, not a weakness of the unit.0 -

Camera taking snaps in infrared range would be, potentially, most useful as safety cameras since they could make plates clearly identifiable despite night, fog, rain or headlights. High frames per second are not really needed, but stabilisation and advanced exposure engine would be useful.0
