CAAD10 Track Bike @ £765 after the discount

Couldn't build it for anything close to that.

    Mavic Ellipse wheelset around £275
    SRAM Omnium Crankset around £175
    Fizik Arione Saddle, £75
Bars, tape, Seatpost, BB, chain, Dura Ace sprocket... £125?

So that leaves about £115 for the frameset. And Cannondale know how to make an Alu frameset. My CAAD12 disc at half price was still £400.

When is a sale not a sale ? They have the endura classics jersey with 75% off - but it's not in the sale. How can you be flogging something that claims to have 75% off yet not regard it as a sale item ffs ?

Yes, of course I bought it anyway.

I'm thinking it is not quite right.

I bought the Qubo Power Fluid in January for Zwift and it's been faultless. Super smooth, much quieter than my previous mag trainer and as a result I spent more hours on it in January and February than I did actually riding outside.

Obviously the Qubo Fluid is different to the Qubo Mag, however at that price it does look like a bit of a steal.

That's what a lot of people think but they are not open source frame. Here's a post on Road.cc from the Designer 2 years ago when the Ace was launched. http://road.cc/content/news/141495-ritt ... aunches-uk

Sports Pursuit is a strange site. They list the Monton jerseys with a rrp of over £200 but anyone can buy direct for around $60-$70. Not sure how they get away with that

Because RRP is always a number plucked out of the sky. Same with Planet X where every day is a sale and the RRP of a frame depends on which way the wind is blowing and whether they've decided to call today's frame a Viner or an On One. Or Vulpine bumping all their 'urban' range to silly prices based on a vague idea that they quite like the position Rapha have managed to achieve

Best to treat RRP with the same respect the retailers do ;)

They may do it but it's illegal. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-23797882 for examples of where this has come up before.

Not quite. As far as I know, the restrictions are only on claimed reductions. As in, was £50 now, £15. If you haven't been selling at £50 previously, that's illegal. Recommend retail is what the manufacturer recommends a retailer sells at, if the retailer decides to sell at a lower price, that's allowed.

It's also not permissible to base savings/sale percentages off RRP alone, it has to be based on actual selling prices either at the retailer itself or elsewhere. Monton for example must be on sale elsewhere for the advertised price. Also note SP don't usually refer to prices as RRP either. Certain brands like Rivelo are only for sale through SP too, and in that case the items have to be on sale for at least equal time at the non-sale price to then be reduced and offered at a sale price. I'll post a link to an article with the guidelines tomorrow some point.

I've got the Tubbs top and bibs shorts. Same cut and pad I believe. Very comfortable.
