Only if its actually in stock in the store. If they have to send one to the store, you need to pay online in advance and cant do BC discount. I think the clothes fit into this category as the stores dont stock them.

I have done in the past. Collect & Pay in store and there were no issues.

I find it varies who you get. One of the chaps in my local store refused to give me the 10% BC discount on a reserve and collect because I was already benefiting from the web price. I argued that there was nothing to say that on the voucher but he flatly refused. Other times I have had no problems using a web 10% code plus the BC 10%.

The problem is the Halfords kids don't always know the deal and huff & puff. I had one tell me the BC discount was only off bike stuff and wasn't going to give me discount on car bits. I reminded him that the voucher says "10% off EVERYTHING".

10% off everything says exactly what it implies. I don't believe the T&Cs say it's only off original non-sale prices.

Thanks Guys, I will check out Flubit later although not that great if only used for amazon now.

Second hand parts, all well and good but harder to get a matching set and the slight concern they may have come off a well used or crashed bike.

fair enough, on my current commuter (CAAD9) the only brand new parts are chain, cassette, pedals, bottle cage, seat post, stem and handlebars. In fact the only parts bought specifically for the build are the stem, seatpost and handlebars.

frame, fork, di2 groupset, crankset, bottom bracket, brakes, wheels, saddle. all second hand.

Its a great way to buy stuff if the photos are good enough!

Yeah the title really says it all. Should be simple. It's when you're asked what 10% is (the till doesn't work this out) that you really have to wonder.

Ultegras are very tempting.....
Pictures are of black, but it says carbon in the description.
*Would there be much improvement or any with Ultegra over 105?
I have brand new unused 5700's I could sell if I did so.
I already have Ultegra cassette and chain to fit to the Scott.

Anyone know of these will categorically be for a double, or is it a case of they can be altered for double or triple?

ProBikeKit have 10% extra off their warehouse clearance today if you use WARE10UK. A lot of the clothing seems to be just extra small or extra large, but a pair of RS61s for £156, Sram Force levers for £133 and Veloce levers for £73 seem like decent deals.

Edit: Tiagra compact chainset in 170/172.5/175mm for £38, Tiagra BB (eng/Italian) for £7.20, Sram 1031 chain £11.60, 1051 £12.80.

I have also ordered a pair - I have brand new 105's to sell, so hopefully the offset price will not be too bad, and I will obviously have to wait until the 105's have sold out before I do this!
If I decide the Ultegras are not all that when they arrive, I will just return them or sell them on.

I've got 5800 105's and 6600 Ultegra and the Ultegra's definitely win both in terms of hood comfort and the smoothness and positivity of the action. And that's from levers one generation apart.

Looks like 105 is now sold out.

The force on Pro bike kit is for 1 lever only, both levers are £251. Veloce is a different kettle of fish, campag shifters always look cheap but their other parts are more expensive.

A pair of open pro rims would be about £80, hubs £50 for a pair, 64 spokes at 50pish so say £30 - seems cheap to me.

yes i thought so, i need some everyday handbuild wheeels and although i have three sets of handbuilds they're all campag and somewhat lightweight.
