I am after a new Kask Mojito, they're the same price everywhere so I think i'll use a LBS to spread the monetary love, however has anyone seen a discount for orders over £100 or similar?

£96 from Royles using the code EXTRA20... http://www.royles.biz/category/24/Road

Yep - got mine from here last week, £96 with free postage, arrived less than 48hrs after ordering. LBS was £120, wasn't prepared to spread that much monetary love.

it also makes selecting which bike im riding very easy unlike the 800.
Not sure what the 810 is like, but on the 800 you just do (with the unit on):

    [*]Press power button once
[*]Tap the name of the bike
    [*]Select the bike you want

    Not exactly difficult?
on the 810 you choose it just by tapping left and right when you turn the device on. its just much more slick

I worked on the NowTV back end. The whole system really is a crock of shoot, despite my best efforts.

I know who to ask for advice then

Sorry  no idea on the hardware, just the original web service. I think they started panicking from day one of the project and just ran around with their hair on fire until about two months before delivery and that's when they really started to worry..

Here's a way to avoid Asprilla's coding inadequacies on your £10 bargain box.

If anyone on here has bought one of these Ritchey bars from Merlin, and either changes their minds, or finds it the wrong size, PLEASE drop me a pm, as it's the right size for me, and would go perfectly with my Scott:

    How about these?

Tried to get Flubit to do a deal on the Amazon link for them and they failed miserably to get even close to MerlinCycles. Oh well, seems the Flubit dream is over now that they're only doing Amazon stuff. Guess it might be preferable to Quidco if you've already shopped around and found that Amazon is best.

I didn't realise Merlin sold through Amazon as well?

I only noticed they were on offer when the mail came through yesterday late afternoon, and I managed to have a look at about 9pm - I must have been so close, as it was in stock when I went on, really disappointed :-(

Thanks for the other link, they are a perfectly nice set of bars I do agree, but I really wanted wing style on top, guess I will have to keep my eyes peeled and hope to get lucky, or perhaps my no name Chinese versions will turn out to be entirely fine after all.

Sweet. I was just thinking yesterday that i needed to think about getting a little supplement drink now that i'm commuting further. Have you tried this stuff before? Do i need to buy the pump as well or does it come with the bottle?

EDIT: Just checked. The pump is on sale too, as £2.25. Might order a couple of bottles and pop down to Boots in Cambridge. I have the car in today after a decent ride yesterday.

These are so bargain-tastic (bit like the Scott CR1) that they have their own thread

    viewtopic.php?f=40012&t=12935816

I myself bought a pair of the R3SLs - no reason to buy new shoes, I have 4 pairs at the moment but the 2 blingier carbon-soled pairs are not perfect fits for me so thought I'd spring for a pair and threw the extra £10 over the std R3s so get the superlight ones. The SLs are all silver and fairly understated but are obviously a top-level bit of kit with kevla reinforced straps feeling very minimal indeed. Arrived in a couple of days from P-X so good service from them too.

I really like it - personally I think it is much nicer than the powdery tasting brands. I normally buy lemon/lime but the orange is good too and £13.50 is a bargain. Wiggle or Evans sometimes have it on offer for £20.

Apologies - I misunderstood and thought you were having a dig! "Stock coming soon" so hopefully they might get more. My local Boots also had the offer so there might still be some around in the stores.

Ooooh. Very tempted by that Mio 305!!

Anyone got one/can recommend it? I've been looking for a reasonably priced bike computer to replace my Halfords Bikehut jobbie.

Just to get this straight. I can do the 20% discount code on £170, to bring it to 136? And the BC thing presumably only applies to members does it?

I have picked one up - Think it was about £143 with HRM and Cadence. These are worth about £50 and the HRM is the same as the Decathlon £30 one.
Cadence and HRM pick up instantly. The Mio for me is fine. I upload the data to Strava for segments and Ridewithgps which is an alternative to mioshare which uses google maps and records your HRM and cadence from the Mio so you can grab this info here. I use Strava for segments anyway to be honest so HRM data isn't an issue.

As a device though the display is clear - I come from a Garmin 305 and the display is colour and so much brighter even in sunshine. You can have 8 fields of data over 2 screens so again everythings covered.
I wanted Altitude, Grade, Total ascent, Temperature along with the other usual suspects. It also has sunrise and sunset which is useful with the nights seeming to creep up on us.
Tried the navigation tonight which doesn't seem to be working so updating the device. I have easily transferred a track from ridewithgps to the Mio. It helps that the mio shows up as a drive so uploading data to strava and downloading tracks to it is your normal windows type stuff.

Overall when you take the HRM and Cadence away £90 for a colour touchscreen device with all these options (IE same price as a Garmin 200) it's a no brainer.

All these High5 zero tablets and Nuun tables selling cheaply but do serious athletes use them? I seem to like them but in order to take at least 60g of carbs per hour at high intensity you've got to replace the carbs you are not taking whilst drinking some other way.

Are these actually better than the High 5s? The CRC offer gets you 20 tablets for £3.49. The Wiggle one gets you 24 for £5.69 - so quite a bit more expensive.

In my opinion high 5 are much better.I find the nuun ones really dry my mouth and throat out.never had that issue with the high 5.

Depends on the duration of the race surely? In a crit or circuit race it's unlikely you'll have time to eat, but then you wouldn't have an electrolyte style drink either.

It seems realistic in a stage race that some pro riders would prefer to take on more solid food with water/Nuun/High5 than just having sugary gels or drinks. I'm just speculating really but that seems plausible.
