The word shameless springs to mind, CP!

Went for the knee warmers. £3.10 including my £10 credit which took the price to £0.00, so only paying for postage. Thanks for the heads up tetm

Sports Pursuit have just launched a great selection of Pearl Izumi cycling gear including jerseys, gillets and warmers which are perfect for the changeable weather we've got a the moment.

Though, I always get the impression with Sports Pursuit that, by the time the stuff turns up, we'll be into a whole different season. Fair?

To be honest, if you ordered this morning, and they arrived tonight, it could be a whole different season by then.

Just picked a pair of these up in Tk Maxx for £16.99

Seem pretty good for the cash, better than Sports direct/lidl anyway.

    Might be worth a look.

Mine just arrived with both mounts, 3 batteries (the spark requires 2) etc, I'm very happy.

The charger will only charge two batteries at a time, but tbh I expected that.

I dithered about that lightset at the w'end : I don't really need (yet) another one but for a decently bright front + rear that is a step in quality above the Far Eastern cheapies I've previously gone for I wonder if these are worth it ?
Not a massive light output : I'm used to the DX/Magicshines/Lightmalls that claim 9-1600 lumens however those claims don't paint the true picture IMHO - the beam pattern for the triple-LED light I bought last year is poor - my guess is it's claimed 1600 Lumens could be matched by a bike-specific light with 1/2 that.
Maybe good as a secondary/reliable backup at the front and good bright rear to accompany the sometimes iffy Smart 0.5W ?

I went through several cheaper lights. Last year I bought an Exposure Strada and it's brilliant. At that price I couldn't resist and ordered them. I'm not sure but I may stick the Spark on my lid.

Means you can hang the spark round your wrist I think... The lanyard slides over the groove on the end of the Spark.

They have sorted it now by sending me a mount in the post :D Shouldn't have taken them a week to do though !!!

no its for when you have it mounted on your helmet.

loop it through a vent so it doesnt go flying if you catch a low flying branch or something

So that if you use it as a helmet light you can secure it though a vent in your helmet. That way if you have an off or brush a low branch whilst off road you stand less chance of losing it.

edit: damn my slow typing one handed; i'm holding a baby over my shoulder before anyone asks and that's not a euphamism

As it's reserve and collect you should be able to get a further 10% off with the British Cycling discount. I've got one of these jackets and they are great - it's a commuter jacket rather than being a race fit but they are properly waterproof (rather than just water resistant) and the reflective panels really make you show up well in the dark.

Halfords. Keep your bike secure with a free bike lock...

Is Riemann cream worth £10.99 for 100ml? Curious to know why you'd choose it over other, cheaper sun screens, other than the sub-pharmaceutical packaging/branding. (I appreciate that ritzier, spendier creams are available)

I like it be because its not a greasy cream. You put a little bit on, soaks in and is dry in seconds and lasts all day. Works really well.
