Sunday morning, but fancy Caesars Camp - I'm enjoying the change.
Did Swinley today, but tried to ride paths we'd never been down before.
    Felt quite intrepid.

  • Can't do Sunday but up for SF tomorrow if anyone's up for it? Never been before and haven't been out on the bike for ages! Someone with a good knowledge of area, best bits etc but not too demanding would be cool ;-)

Bit like Swinley, smaller but the hills seem steeper.
Probably around 11ish if that suits. (DK if you're listening - 10.30).
Entrance is opposite the Total Garage in Odiham Road, Farnham, GU10 5AB

Hi Ben, if your up for Swinley, but not sure our fitness levels would match? i.e. me being the lagger, wouldn't want to hold you up. How far is Crowthorne to Swinley? I drive so can collect or pick you up from nearest station, no problem.

Jamiester, Swinley is Crowthorne (and vice versa)... Im about 500m from the forest so I can ride to swinley easily! When are you going there?

Sorry Ben, my geography is a lot to be desired! 500m from the forest? Cool. I was thinking on heading up there around 1pm, not sure if that fits around you? I'm coming from Wimbledon so presuming about a 45min journey, never been before.

That sounds cool. I might head out to Minley now and exlpore there for an hour or so (I ride past it on my way to work every day but have never actually been in the woods), then over to Swinley. PM me your mobile and Ill come across and say hello.

Make it easier, we'll say 1:15 at the gate by Go Ape unless I hear different? I have a Black Santa Cruz Blur, and will be sporting a lurid green top.

Good rides today - Minley was great, the singletrack there is properly sweet. Why dont we ride there more often/ever? Also good to meet Jameister... Even if I did nearly kill him (sorry).

Keep saying I'd like to do Minley and Yately. Needed to get a bit of SH out of my system today though.

Good SH ride, bumped into a couple of guys who didn't seem to know where they were going and showed them the trails, ended up a right blast. Three OTBs on xmas pudding.

Shattered now but hopefully can drag myself over to Caesars. Damn creaking Santa Cruz bushings need sorting though. Chain device knackered also. Think that's going. Expensive SRAM kit. Go with Blackspire which seems simple and reliable (and cheap).
